- BJ Saunders has impressed me the most. I can see him doing well in the pro's. He has all the tools.
- Price is also doing great but I don't know how he will do as a pro, it's too early.
- DeGale seems to amateurish for my liking and there are so many young up and coming middleweights (prospects) that he seems nothing special.
Discuss.

Degale reminds me of Junior Witter for some reason.
Price might make something, though he is a bit 'Wladdy' at times.

Billy Joe Saunders easily. None of the rest will do anything. Price will get starched fairly soon at pro level and the best amateur boxer is Gavin and he looks totally unsuited to the pro game to me.
Billy Joe and Bradley Saunders will both slip into the pro game comfortably, Bradley will go nowhere in particular but be solid enough and Billy Joe could be very good, depends on his chin and how his power develops.

BJ Saunders will be the one to watch.
DeGale looks shit at amateur level at time with his slaps and like someone else mentioned there are better boxers out there.
Price will be british level on his best day although if he takes Gold (which he is capable of doing) he could make some decent money.

I doubt any of them will turn out to be world class pros(Ring Mag top 10 at the weight) George Groves and Tyson Fury, both of whom didn't make the squad MAY turn out to be world class pros though.
I like the looks of Billy Joe skillwise, but he's seriously lacking in power. Maybe it'll improve with age. Let's hope so.

Frankie Gavin will adapt to the pro game I think, he has too much ability not too. You could have said that Khan wouldnt have made the step up to pro like he did but he had to make a lot of adjustments to his game and has come on leaps and bounds since athens

Without power, you are going nowhere in the pros. Gavin doesn't APPEAR to have much power at present. Maybe it'll develop when he turns pro and trains differently. Remember,Amir Khan used to stop people in the amateurs, and he's not considered a really big puncher as a pro, just decent power

Both the Saunders and Price, maybe Gavin but I'm really not sure about him despite the better amateur pedigree.

The gulf between Ams and Pros today in technique is vast the Pschycodinamics are different Totaly to what they were 20 years ago.

Gavin looks vulnerable to me aswell, and his style is much more amateur than Khan's was(and he hasn't exactly made himself into an all conquering champ yet anyway).
There's guys who've had more amateur talent than Gavin and gone on to be very average pros, so don't be fooled into thinking talent will overcome everything. He has amateur talent anyway, not necessarily pro talent.

So the best heavy in the game with no serious opposition. He should do alright then.
