So I've been play football for two years and now I'm to my senior year in highschool still doing the same shit over again.
I'm not a starter and I only get to play when were winning by a large margin. Now, I'm not a bad athlete, in fact I ran 4.7 in the 40 and I lift relatively heavy for my weight (152, 5'11"), but think I've had a change of heart.
I'm really wanting to gain weight and start lifting again, but I just can't considering we condition everyday. Everyday. No breaks in between days! I thought it was just a first week thing, but this is just retarded. Moreover, I want to focus on college and part-time job which I can't really do since we practice 3-4 hours everyday except Fridays and Sundays. Finally..I really want to start boxing. I found a nice gym here in Saint Louis with plenty of different times to fit my schedule and hell..I just like boxing much more. I can't say I've ever watched a football game from beginning until end not so with boxing.
Honestly, I can't accomplish all of those things, but I'm really struggling with this decision. What would you do? I'm not a quitter, but I can't make up my mind.
Heh, take all that other shit off the forum, this isnt a football forum, or a lifting forum..
If you like boxing more do it, but you will need time for probably 2 hours in a gym and about 45 minutes in the morning if you are serious(or every other morning if you're doing HIITS as well)..
You want to box... why do you want to gain weight? :huh

Meh, more personal preference. I don't plan on being a pro or something. Just for fun.
In any case I was just planning on asking some random people for the hell of it.

Fair enough. You will have the same conflicting goals as you currently have though, as boxing isn't really ideal for gaining muscle.
