How'd you score this fight?

I just watched the entire fight for the first time, I had it 6-4 Bowe. Tubbs actually showed up in almost ok shape for this one but wasn't active enough.

I think I had Tubby winning this one 96-95. I have the scorecard somewhere at home.

I recently re-watched it without scoring, and my impression was that a draw would not have been a bad verdict.

I recently watched this fight and my impressions were that neither fighter was willing to seize the victory, but Bowe was the more active man inside the ring. To those who call this fight a robbery, I can only disagree. I thought Bowe won the fight as I scored it 6-3-1 in his favor.

Bowe had his amateurish moments where he lunged in with leading left hooks and was caught with some punches, but altogether I thought he did enough to win.

Probably one of the best performances from Tubbs that he had sported in years. He showed up in respectable shape, and was fighting rather actively leading into the fight.

Personally, I think the fight was close enough to be a draw, but Bowe probably edged it a tad...

Bowe was just doing that bit extra.. Tubbs did great considering how good Bowe was to develope into. But Bowe win by a point..

Yeah Bowe nearly fell out of the ring a few times, nearly going end over end over the top rope

I had it 5-5...don't have my scorecard handy, but Bowe bossed it in the first half then Tubbs in the second half.

Bowe had the bigger, better looking shots. Tubbs had the movement and quick-fire combos.

It's a pretty good fight to watch, only slightly spoiled on my copy with the idiot commentators they seem to have turned up with 'Bowe wins' written down and completely ignoring what was actually happening in the ring.

Got any punch stats?

I'm pretty sure it was on a network where they didn't record them...not Showtime, but someone else like ABC or something.

I'll check when I'm home later.

You're right, it was on ABCs Wide World of Sports. No punch stats.

The commentating is terrible, Dan Dierdof a guy who usually does football is doing it, and around the 6th, 7th round I had the fight even he says, "Tubbs hasn't won a round on my scorecard, he's just surviving."

Just watched Biggs-Bowe for the first time too. That was an entertaining fight, Bowe dropped his hands early on to showboat and Biggs nailed him and nearly dropped him it was actually pretty funny.
