Right now to me honestly it looks like the top three are the very best all three of those guys IMO can beat the bottom half of the six right now.
but a fight with Cintron vs Cotto I cant figure out a winner there, a fight between Mayweather vs Cintron has to go to Mayweather based on skills Cintron is too slow for Floyd and Floyd knows how to make his size an advantage, meaning he is the smaller of the two and he knows how to use that to his advantage.
but a fight between Cotto and Mayweather I get stuck right in my tracks, I can see a back and forth fight here, Floyd boxing Cotto cutting him off and fighting his fight, who wins here I dont know.
either way if De La Hoya does come back and Hatton is moving up I will rated DLH #6 and Hatton #7

I got it like this... Since Mayweather is the linear then ill put him as champ but i dont hes the best outta the bunch:

It is not a given that the top three you listed would beat the bottom six of the 147 division. I think that rationale is a big problem in boxing right now. Seems like many fans say that, because fighter A beat a couple of fighters that fit their style, fighter A can definitely beat fighter B so why let them fight. Why? Because styles make fights. Mayweather, Cotto, and Cintron will not neccesarily beat Margarito, Clottey, Collazo, Hatton, and DLH. Let them actually fight before we annoint them kings of such a deep division. Ray Robinson would have fought his entire top ten instead of just retreads like Gatti, Mathysee, and Judah then saying he's going to retire as the best with this much competition left in his division. The public is letting these guys of the hook. Would Cintron definitely beat Clottey? Cotto definitely beat Collazo? Or even Maywether definitely beat Margarito? Hatton versus Margarito anyone? We know we will never see that. Let them fight over the next two years and see. Mix and match the styles. The heavyweights in the golden years did it when they were ten deep and you had all types of wins and loses even with Ali himself.
