Anyone with a clue didn't think that . The majoirty predicted Floyd boringly by points . The majoirty were right but I don't think most of us expected it to be so close(scored it a draw myself but lets not get into that)

as an event it was holmes v cooney.

it was a hyped event worldwide for months beforehand.

diffucult for those not around and following boxing at the time to know how big this fight was because of the black v white angle and it was at a time of free tv and very few tv channels.
