It was possibly the biggest fight boxing has seen since Hagler-Leonard, but the fight itself was definitely not a war. It was an average fight, more exciting that Tito-DLH, but not so exciting as Margarito-Williams, Tito-Vargas, etc.

fight of the century with regards to incredibility and action-packedness has to be corrales/castillo for me, but there are other candidates also and i'm sure there are going to be better fights. but i won't start speculating on who may be involved... (except for COTTO)

oscar/floyd may have been something one could call the "boxing event" of the century, though, and arguably it could be called the highest level fight of the century or something.

It was 1 of the BIGGEST fights ever & not bad to watch but nowhere near the fight of the century.

Biggest fight last century was between Ali Frazier 1 & Ali Foreman
Biggest fight this century so far was either Delahoya Hopkis or Delahoya Mayweather

Best fight last century was probably between Hagler Hearns & Ali Frazier 3

It was the biggest fight of this century, no contest.

Nothing else will come close, not even Wlad vs Vitali or Vitali/Lewis II.

It was a better fight than most people let on, it was fought at a very high level, and had a lot of drama.. it just wasn't a war.
