As close as Kung Fu came to NHB in the 80's. Good stuff, though, seeing kung fu styles used in a full contact environment.

looks somewhat fake to me.......but yeah.....a kung fu fighter wouldn't last a second in an MMA fight.

Edit: ok maybe its not totally fake, but the guy in yellow in the 2nd video was scoring points mainly from Judo throws, not his kung fu. Which seemed largely ineffectual from both fighters.

That "judo" was probably some adaptation from Shuai Jiao (Chinese wrestling) of rather great antiquity:

Interesting......were those throws allowed? the guy seemed to be getting penalised and having the match restarted when he did it.

I believe they were, and the start-stop of these competitions was due to a peculiar rule and point system.
