It seems that their careers are each in different stages now which should make for a good fight on the August 18 PPV event.

Sure, I think so. :good

True, "Baby" Joe Mesi is UNDEFEATED( 35-0-0-28KO ), but Sherman "the Tank" Williams( 33-10-2-19KO ) has more experience( 10 more fights than Mesi )!

William wins --- unless some slips him some side money to stand in front of Mesi, throw 10 punches per round, nothin hard and definately dont hurt Baby Joe.
Pay per view suckers will think Mesi is great.

I hope I will get to see this on PPV, because the *Bout between David Tua-New Zealand/ 47-3-1-40KO, & Saul Montana-Mexico/ 48-14-0-42KO, ...should be a good one too! :happy

I would also enjoy seeing future Champ( in My opinion ) Roman Greenberg-Israel/ 25-0-0-17KO! :D

Mes will be the first guy to KO Sherman Williams convincingly in many many years. He is very durable. It will be a good win for Joe. Williams can not deal with Mesi's handspeed and boxing ability, theres no way.

Williams, beat Mesi? No fucking way. Zero. Zilch.

Williams has never beaten anyone of any kind of record.

So it sounds like it is a close match and should be entertaining. Thats all I ask. I want my money's worth. I don't care if they are each 3-17 as long as they kick the crap out of each other. Isn't that what its really all about?......bloodsport entertainment

Williams can't beat Mesi (unless he just tires himself out so much that he leaves his chin exposed), but he can give Mesi rounds, which is something Mesi desperately needs.

Well, Williams is at least a solid stepping-stone fighter who has gone the distance and been reasonably competitive with a lot of contenders. He did beat Al Cole and draw with McCline, he's only been stopped once in 45 pro fights, that being over eight years ago, and he's won his last eight in a row, so he's a fairly credible opponent. However, he's not nearly as talented or skilled as Mesi, and he isn't really a huge puncher, so it should make for a pretty comfortable with for Joe. Williams should give him rounds and test him a bit more than his previous comeback opponents, but Mesi ought to either soundly outpoint him or maybe stop him in the mid-to-late rounds if he can connect often enough and maintain a fast pace.

Where do I find odds on this PPV show?
I'll put money on Montana to score an upset over Tua and Mesi by decision over Williams.

This is it. It's a good step up for Mesi. Williams is durable but poses no threat to beating an in shape Mesi. I could see Tank taking it 7 or 8 rounds before Mesi takes him out, or possibly going all 10 and dropping a lopsided decision. It's a good for Mesi, just not a PPV worthy one.

would also enjoy seeing future Champ( in My opinion ) Roman Greenberg-Israel/ 25-0-0-17KO!

Champion of what? Tel Aviv?

I hope Sherman "Tank" Williams is coming to win.

I hope that the "Tank" does not --- Go In The TanK.

But you never know.

Money talks and bullshit walks.

People will do anything for a buck just like most of Joe Mesi's opponents.

What hand speed?
What boxing ability?
No chin.
Anybody that knows boxing isnt blind.
Mesi hasnt shown very much at all .
Williams can punch.
Mesi is easy to hit.
Think again.

You can be sure he that he will need 2-3 comeback fights before he takes on any kind of small challenge again. Maybe even 5-6 just to be safe.
