Boxing News taking ****** to task

BN once memorably took ****** to task only to, even more memorably, publish a grovelling front page apology the following week. You can reverse a male vasectomy but once your dog is neutered there is no going back. They say if you want loyalty you need to buy a dog, if you want forthright honest opinion in boxing then check out the Internet, preferably BBN and the boxing forums.


saw this in an article, whats the story behind it?

I remeber ****** fell out with boxing news

he gave Claude Abrahams a press seat right in line with the ring post blinding his view on purpose

****** stated he was fed up with boxing news and claude abrahams in a open letter to boxing news which was published on their front page

****** said something along the lines of

"while I will not be revoking your press passes to my shows you will certainly not be welcome at my shows"

Boxing News responded in the next few issues with a unflattering photo of ****** looking like a gargoyle - it was a funny dig at him - and loads of people picked up on it and someone wrote to boxing news saying they published the photo on purpose - Boxing News editor did not deny it:lol:

it all died down a bit then though
