Khan is a shooting star but the knockdown has set him back. Meantime guys like Mitchell and Arthur have looked even more devastating and put themself back on par with Khan.
There are some amazing fights to be made around 130-140 and possibly some real world class operators among them.

Mitchell would KO Khan within 6. I've always been convinced about that, even more so since the Limond fight. (Although doubt it would happen unless Mitchell steps up)
I think it's a disgrace that this overhyped guy has got so much exposure and earned so much money in such short space of time while REAL prospects like Mitchell always have to take the back seat.

who exactly has kevin mitchell fought that gives him the right to be regarded as a better boxer then khan, mitchell may probrably stop khan at this stage of his career, but that doesnt make him a better boxer, if memory serves me mitchell was still fighting bums with back to back losses in his 13th. Mitchell skills was no where close to khans current performances during his 13th.

Khan needs to stop talking trash full stop. He's only had twelve fights and just about got through his toughest to date. If the chap kept his head down and just concentrated on getting the proper fights and doing his talking in the ring, people would like/respect him more. As it stands, quite a few people, maybe even the majority, would like to see him starched.

Ignore Mitchell for the moment , did you just say 'Arthur back on par with Khan' !!!........that not only insinuates that they are on a similar level but also that Khan had put himself above Arthur .

rudiculous huh. I don't rate china Khan at all but what has Mitchell done besides knock over a few tomato cans..infact Mitchell and Khan have been fed the same guys. Limond is far tougher than anyone Mitchell has fought.
Arthur destroys Mitchell or Khan.

I agree that mitchell is behind arthur but not by that far, you will see if they ever fight. Mitchell can really bang, and he is a vicious puncher. I think he is better than the opponents he has fought and that he can step up a level- if he works on his tactics. Mitchell would definately knock Khan out though.

do you really think mitchell will or is even ready to step up to lightweight?

Mitchell doesnt hit as hard as he thinks. Who as he fought with a really good chin? I dont think his power will carry at the top level in super feather, never mind lightweight.

no way mitchell would ud burns.
I'm fairly sure one would have the others number but I'm not sure which .
Would Burns pick Mitchell off and expose his lack of defense or would Mitchell be able to put pressure on Burns back him up and maul him .
I'm gonna guess Burns would win but it's one of those you don't know till you see them fight .

mitchell is a genuine power puncher, he used to train at my gym as an amateur and used to give the super middlweights fits.

Now thats what i call putting me on the spot!
Thanks for the offer & all that Gaz, but I have to decline;)
There aint no way Im ever going to put myself into a position where I have to sport a Hatton avatar! The risk factor outweighs the benefits.
I broke out in a cold sweat the first & last time I lost an avatar bet, & had to have a non scottish avatar, in fact, it lasted less than 24 hours before I cracked up & put a scotsman back in! Im grateful though to my irish friend who took pity on my predicament, & let me off with the bet as he knew how much it pained me. & for that, I owe him one, & will never make the same mistake twice! Once bitten, twice shy & all that...
Call me a cynic though, but Im wary of Ray Hattons quotes. I dont see this fight happening.

No, don't misunderstand me.
Arthur was and is above par. I meant potentially it appeared Khan could end up much further but now Arthur is effectively a world class operator and it is unknown if Khan could live on the level Arthur has.

If I was a Hatton fan, I too would put off a holiday in order to go to that fight. Its what us real boxing fans do.

phew , thank god because I thought for a while there that someone was actually rating Khan (currently)above Alex Arthur .
