Its all over the man was found dead in a dessert today after missing for over a month. He actually predicted his death on his blog saying hes going so far in the dessert he could die without proper equipment or something. RIP I always liked him he was a fine fighter at his peak.

I was never a big fan of Tanner - but found myself rooting for him in his last fight with Kendall Grove. Was looking forward to his next fight.
RIP.

Very, very sad. RIP Evan Tanner.
I can't believe it, I always liked Evan as both a fighter and an individual. This is a sad day for all, RIP Evan.

I lost an avatar bet with boyd, and he told me to make use an Evan Tanner avatar.
Usually an avatar bet loser is meant to display a demeaning avatar. I'm actually proud to wear this one for a couple weeks.

Yeah its crazy but Evan man hes a adventure type guy he loved doing that stuff so if theres one good thing that comes out of this its that Evan died doing something he was passionate about. Its good though I believe he had kinda made peace though he won his fight with alcohol and really he lived a damn good life which is all you can ask for. He was a successful man he reached the very top of the sport becoming UFC Middleweight Champ which remember back in 05 it was the only MMA Middleweight title as Pride came after Evan lost it so for a minute there Evan Tanner was argubally the very best in his divison. RIP to a good fighter and a fine person ill miss watching Evan pulling off his beloved triangle and his little muay thai knees :good

R.I.P brother....
Tanner has been going through a lot in the last year. Alcoholism and depression. And he didn't look himself in his fights with Okami or Kendall. Evan was a fine fighter in his prime. Rest in peace Evan.

Rip Brother
The consumate old-school warrior/philosopher. He forged his own way in the fight game and lived his life as a free spirit. There are few men as complex in the MMA world. He balanced physical toughness with an ever yearning desire. RIP Tanner. You always had the mark of a man who would die young, and I almost think you wanted it this way.
