And speculate as to what he may have gone on to achieve.
A bit bleak, I know, but I was thinking about his after reading Bart's similair post on a great artist in the Lounge.
Ketchel? Greb? Sanchez? Who would it be, and what happened next.

Sanchez.i think he would unify with Pedroza, have a rematch with Nelson and maybe Gomez and who knows what he couldve done more probably win titles at 130 and 135.

Greb squeezed hundreds of matches into the time he had. It was cut short, yes... But the real problem with Greb is lack of film, not lack of fights and a variety of opposition.
I would of absolutely loved to see where Ketchel could of gone. But once again, he had problems just like Greb. Where Greb had his eye problems, Ketchel had an STD.
Grrrr...

Very good shout.
Think he'd have won the title back? Speculate.yes by a hard fought decision. then he'd have a 50-50 fight vs Robinson, either man could win. Then he'd prolly lose the rematch

I think both Cerdan and Greb were slightly past their best, that doesnt mean to say they couldnt have won more major fights,Greb in particular was starting to feel the effects of his hectic schedule and even more hectic lifestyle, cerdan may well have beaten jake in the rematch but he was slightly on the downside of his career I feel,Sanchez may have done wonders ,then again a much more experienced Nelson may have got his revenge in a rematch , aunification fight for sanchez against Pedroza wouldnt have been a gimme either.

Sanchez may have beaten Pedroza( 50-50 chance), but if he moved up, a Rosario, Camacho, Davis Jr, or Arguello would've taken him.

Rocky Marciano hands down. Here was a guy that retire unbeating, Lured back out of retirement vs Ali, and ko Ali in a action pack fight. Had Marciano not died, he would have return and ko Joe Frazier, George Foreman and Ken Norton all in one day. I mean Marciano was the first guy to beat Ali.
