Anyone game to rank him alltime at flyweight?

Personally I thought he was the best flyweight of the early naughties and probably the best flyweight since Too sharp at the time.
A lot of people grossly underrate Thai fighters achievments, I dont know if its they were left with bad taste in their mouths after seeing the ridiculous and disproportionate praise for Galaxy

May have fought most of career in asia but he did fight pretty good fighters. Beat Hussein, Naito (several times, always thought that they were better wins than people give him credit for, Naito is a good fighter and current champ), 3 time challenger Everado Morales, 2x challenger Honda, Trashy N, beat Tunanco for the title.
But the fact their were so many good names absent from his record doesnt score well for him. I clearly remember several of his opponants getting rankings out of no where just before they got a shot. Im pretty sure in one instance they had a fight signed and ready to go but the WBC hadnt ranked said fighter yet, he didnt enter the rankings till a week from the fight.

Then there was the whole debacle where he was the proper champ and Arce was the interim champ, and they were defending their titles at the same time, several times at that. That certainly didnt help his image.
I have no hard evidence but someone with Thai contacts explained to me that Team Wonjongkam had the cash to put this fight on but Team Arce didnt want to go to Thailand, and Suliman pacified them for as long as they wanted by letting them hold on the interim strap. Dont know how true that is or not, even he was suspicious because he knows the Thais can be very parochial and one eyed.

Pong doesn't have the record to be among the best ever and evaded Arce too many times.

big mistake by the ring mag:verysad it would be a travesty if they rank pong higher than ricardo finito lopez for example.. he has not done shit other than hide in thailand and knock out tomato cans

Pongskalek does not care what we as fans think about him... he needs not to worry whether me or u who reads this thinks he ducked anyone or not.... i always liked him.. he fought regularly and fought tomato cans and faced his mandatories besides Arce... who is at fault there both sides will claim the other side...he was a very good fighter... the Thai boxing scene does not play by US or European rules.. the culture is different... how many free shows are shown to the public... how many of the Thais give a shit about what we say on the forums... their hero is in the ring and they can see him fight.... when was the last time any of our boxers fought more than three times a year??/ i like the Asian boxing scene.. but many on the forums have to look at the scene and not compare it to our boxing ... it is just too different...it is comparing Apples to trucks.... he was a good fighter and still may regain his title if given another chance....

Well schooled boxer, but I don't think he was among the best Flyweights, at least a tier or two below the true elites.
