By fighting Dondon Sultan on October 31st, is he wasting his time?
I can not understand why a fighter of his experience would bother with a fight like this at his age. does he really need the money that much?

It's kinda sad. This is a guy who in 1995/6 beat Jake Rodrigez,Willy Wise,Livingstone Bramble & drew with Corey Johnstone. Those days are long gone.

Tony Caradona had dodgy written all over him. i have no sympathy for Shannan in this deal. he took a risk and it didn't pay off.

Never liked Taylor, the bloke is a grub from what I've heard. As far as him fighting Sulton, its a waste of time. He should hang up the gloves.

Beating up on a guy can give you some confidence and maybe thats what Taylor needs/ wants........I think he needs tough rounds against quality fighters before fighting Mundine.

Remember he is after a good pay day and I dont think a good prep is on his agenda

Josh Clenshaw put Dondon down three times last night in an impressive win. A pointless fight for Taylor. I'll bet Josh would love to fight him as he has never ducked anyone.

To put your career in the hands of a weasel like Tony, you are asking for trouble. Don King can deliver you something, Tony was a small fish in the big pond of world boxing.
Fingers crossed Tony never returns to boxing.

I was watching my mate fight at the big top at luna park lastnight(mma) and shannon the grub taylor was there talking up his supposed fight against Mundine that will be announced soon.lol

Poor bastard is really clutching at straws to get some publicity.

My mate lost but boy the fights were great.

His record is now4-1.The bloke he fought was taller and stronger with a record of 10-1.

I know my mate has decent standup but for some reason he continued to go for the takedown which by the end of the 1st round my cuz and i who were at the fight knew werent going to happen.

His trainers either let him down or he didnt listen because he looked at his best when striking though he rarely let the fists go.

My mate copped some brutal shots(mainly elbows) in the 3rd round as his very impressive opponent starter to come into his own.

All in all it was his first loss but at the age of 22 he has plenty of time to improve things and hopefully discover a plan B when things dont go according to plan.

Im training abit at the moment with the hope of having a mma bout by next year.lol.

Definetly let u all know when im fighting.

It would be hard to find fights as a amateur as it is still relatively new in oz.Slowly taking off though.

Unfortunetly for boxing purists MMA will definetly exceed boxing atleast here in oz.

The card i went to on the wknd was capacity crowd over 2thousand paying spectators.

Fox are really jumping on board aswell.

I went to card on the gold coast last year with MMA, it was very poor to watch, I was bad in a ballroom, you can't see shit.

I remember your mates fight.My cuz who i was with creamed in his pants over it coz hes a puple belt in jui jitsu and loves submissions etc.

Man the CFC seems like a decent organisation.Very professional and with fox showing interest things can only get better.

I was surprised that had a pack house.Would of been atleast 2thousand there.

Is your mate fighting on the next CFC event on Nov 7 at the bigtop??

Good stuff mate, im from Launceston and i saw a news story on your friend, and iv read a few stories about him in the local newpaper.

What stand up training does he do? If he wants some good Muay Thai sparing, id be happy to spar him.

Taylor was at the MMA event i went to and mentioned hes fighting some dud then the Mundine fight next.

He was going on how not much people dislike Mundine and how he wants to do Australia proud and put in the fight of his life against him.It was funny because he keep falling short of actually saying he could beat Mundine.

UMMM Shannon no1 likes u either.Actually dare i say Taylor is more hated as their are many Mundine nuthuggers out there.
