hmmm interesting...a bit surprising. i kind of think it will be a slow start with both men feeling each other out. I doubt povetkin is ultra aggressive early although he should be. He's never tasted wlad's power which could be wlad's advantage :hey :hey :hey

Why is it surprising? Povetkin is already gonna tax that ass; I doubt Klitschko's handlers wanted to make it easier for him.

It never happend, and why are you surprised? Wlad is Ukrainian and become pro at 1996.

From the beginning Wlad boxed at Heavyweight at the Amateurs and than turned to Superheavyweight in 1995.

At 1995 Alexander Povetkin was 16 years old. Povetkin started his amateur career at welterweight! And at the age of 17 he boxed at leightmiddleweight!

Povetkin was a legit heavy by 18, he won the junior worlds in kickboxing at heavyweight then.

Povetkin has zero chance to beat Vlad.

Povetkin has zero chance to beat Vlad.

If Povtkin has a superb chin (which we don't know yet) and excellent stamina, then he has an outside chance of winning. There's the possibility that he could "out-tough" Vlad the way Brewster and Puritty did. It's a long shot, but it's not out of the question.

We already know he has excellent stamina, he throws tons of punches and does a good job varying them too.

i haven't seen heavyweight with such a great stamina in a long time. He keeps pressing forward all 12 rounds no matter what. Wlad's in for a tought fight

We Know Povetkin has a superb chin. He was only down once in a fight as a amatuer and that was a lack of concentration (against Mazin I believe) he knocked him down andlost his concentration, after Povetkin went down, he stood up and won the fight by TKO.

While I like both I will cheer for Povetkin. I always root for the underdog.
