Earl's going to get smashed to pieces, he lacks the chin to compete with the mix of speed and power that is the great Amir Khan.
If Katsidis can do in Earl in 5, expect Amir to KO him in 3 or less.:good

The sarcasm is far more boring than the malicious ranting.

'Rembrandt' Khan's gonna get the stuffing knocked out of him as he steps up and faces a guy with a bit of power, even a shot Earl should get the job done and hopefully shut the mouthpiece the fuck up.

Very impressive fight. Having just been in a major scare he is facing someone with more power and is more accomplished.
While everyone hates Khan is showing his true colours. Against Limond he showed ALOT of heart and now he is showing he is willing to take the necessary fights.
I want to see him defend his Commonwealth for this one and then fight Thaxton for the British title.

It appears Khan is fighting someone else first. I think they should get some random African who will come to Khan. Khan needs a fight that will give him experience for Earl.

Exactly, he showed massive heart and stopped a guy who came to punch and who was as game as ever.
What more can the haters want?
Oh well, Earl is getting smashed and this time it will be totally one sided, fixing the defence problems.

I feel at peace with this new Amsterdam. It is funny that some of what you say sarcastically is in fact true.

Calzaghe's going to thrash Kessler into submission(tko). Absolutely rape him every second of the fight in a supernatural display.
Kessler cannot handle the footspeed, the frantic pace, the awkward shots and the volume thrown, all of which make him tenative, all of which combined will destroy him in a one sided display.
Calzaghe TKO 9.

Just because you're an Amir Khan hater, it gives you no right to criticise my analysation skills. Amir Khan's initials are AK, like the assault rifle, and it's damn close.

Why do you think Kessler won't be able to be competitive?

"All right chaps! Time to drive it home to him that we've put a large bet on Calzaghe..."

Do you really think this, Amsterdam?
that it'll be that uncompetitive? I'm just curious, because Joe's my favourite fighter and I don't see it being so simple.
Why do you think Kessler won't be able to be competitive?
Despite the common notion, Kessler has no strength advantage.
* Kessler hates pressure and swarming.
* Kessler gets overly tenative towards speed, Mundine showcased this, Kessler pressed it on him and Mundine went into his shell, Calzaghe doesn't have Mundine's glass chin to worry about and isn't afraid of taking a big one to land 5 and set up a dominant footwork positioning.
* Kessler won't be able to circle a guy who's footspeed is one of the best ever and is still 80% or so of the prime footspeed, which means he has to deal with Calzaghe's in and out movement, rendering him to fight at a higher pace than his comfort zone.
* Kessler is rigid, that jab is going to do very little as Calzaghe is a master at slipping jabs. Calzaghe's weakness is the overhand lead right, which Kessler prefers to set up a straight right behind a jab in perfect euro-boxer form.
* Kessler is open to awkward angle shots, who throws more than Joe?
* Kessler is vulnerable to handspeed and strongly dislikes volume being thrown at him.
* Kessler hates it when fighters go to the body, I suspect he may be weak there, Calzaghe rips combinations to the body and the head at lightning speed and his feet allow him to set it up from different positioning.
Kessler fans use the Reid fight as an example of Calzaghe's weaknesses that Kessler can exploit. They leave out that Reid at his best was an iron chinned, immovable iron man that had excellent time and an excellent lead overhand right, the opposite of a tentative fighter. Kessler is closer related to Mario Veit than he is Robin Reid, though, Veit's 3 steps below Kessler in class and fluidity.
Calzaghe TKO 9. Easy. Eat your heart out.:good

khans knockdown may have had a dammaging effect to his brain he wont be ablE to fight gomez(or whoever) and then earl in the space of 2 months, the earl fight could go either way, khan could get a decent UD and earl could get the KO.
