Where does the Palhares shut-out place him as re. a rematch with Silva?

Does he have to beat some overmatched TUF-er like Bisping next or what? :huh

Why would you want to see him fight Hendo again?

Hendo is the only middleweight that can beat him. Although the fight finished quite conclusively Hendo won the first round quite comfortably (I know this is nothing special since Travis Lutter looked good against Silva for a while as well, but still), and since that fight every time you hear Dan speak he talks how about he fought the wrong fight and is seething at himself. Even though hes got quite bitchy in old age () i do believe him here and think as long as he doesnt stand on the outside he'll beat ASilva; Hendo takes away his clinch, can KO him in an exchange as long its a brawl and not a Thai Boxing match, AAAAND can hold him down on the ground. Hendo is Silvas stylistic nemesis and the biggest win of the SPiders career to date :deal

I dont see the need for it. As much as i like Hendo in the ring the mans a prick. He never has anything good to say about anyone. Silva beat him quite soundly in my opinion and im not interested in a rematch just because Dan said he had an off night. Get back in line Dan end of story.

So who should Silva fight next? They gave Franklin a rematch and he got fukin slaughtered in the first fight, why shouldn't Hendo get one? Same with Nate.

Im just saying i dont see the point or need for it. Its old grown and i believe Silva has already proven himself. Id like to see him up at light heavy personally. I dont see what else he can achieve at middleweight.

So you believe the fight was so one sided that it is pointless to even make one? I say Hendo doing very well and just slipping up and getting caught in a choke, unlike Franklin who just got the shit beat out of him........twice. Plus they already said Silva is staying at MW so in that case, who should he fight then?

What? How is there no point in another fight when Rich Franklin got one after being absolutely destroyed. At least Hendo comfortably won a round before getting chocked in 2nd.

Okami should fight Anderson after Silva demolishes Cote.

I bet you Hendo fights the winner of Bisping/Leben.

I thought Palhares won the 2nd round, but it was close for me. It was still a dominant performance for Henderson.

I believe Henderson deserves a rematch with Silva, as he is still the biggest threat to Silva at that weight.

I would like to see GSP challenge if victorious vs. Penn.

Okami is certainly a good opponent for Silva.

Really there is only Okami (technically a rematch), a Rematch with Hendo, GSP moving up, Demien Maia after another win or so, or Anderson Silva moving up.

It's quite amazing what Silva has done to the division.

Well, there's always Filho and Lindland outside UFC.

Henderson seems like the logical opponent for Anderson Silva. He is the former champion and just put on a good showing against a young undefeated fighter in Toqhino. Perhaps a Henderson/Marquardt match for the number one contender's spot would be in order? Silva has already cleared out the division.

Yea, theres a few others outside the UFC. I don't think Filho and Anderson would fight though, I think they train together or are friends.

Anderson Silva has gone on record to say he would never fight Paulo Filho because they are friends and training partners.

Plus Filho needs to fight Sonnen in a rematch that first one was crap reffing, and Filho hasn't fought since.

Anderson and Paulo would never fight.

And on paper Lindland looks like a dangerous opponent for Silva. But in reality, he's another version of Hendo except with a weaker chin.
