Personally by none of them but since imo Ricky and Miguel are a class above Ward i think i would chose him to take one if i had to.They are in an overall class above, but Ward had a sick liver shot.

Hatton Easily!

Edit....I thought it was who would I rather take one from.

I would have voted for Ward. The man was a BEAST to the body.

I voted for Cotto. Honestly all 3 are solid guys that can make you piss blood.

i would say ward and hatton are more dedicated body punchers....miguel is good but in his last fight he barely went to the body. i guess it doesn't take much to break down zab tho. Nahh miguel went to the body a lot hatton in his las few fights have been fighting more above.

All three great body punchers....all three a step below the three mentioned.

Tho to be honest, I think Hatton is a step below the other two. But.....still would hate to take one to the liver from him.

WHAT???

The answer is emphatically yes.

Have you ever seen either of these two fight? Ward is one of the most devastating body punchers EVER. Cotto is the best today....not Hatton.

You can always find one super fan dangling off the nuts of his idol, of course Cotto and Ward could have done the same, as a matter of fact if Cotto would have fought the same version of Castillo that Hatton fought I have a feeling Cotto would have let the fight linger a bit showing his boxing skills and breaking a couple of ribs, cheek bones, orbital bones, etc, etc.

Cotto...ringside twice, and never heard body shot impact from my seat so loud by a fighter under 168 other than Cotto. Cotto is bigger, stronger, quicker, and more technically sound than Ricky.

Ward is the best body puncher out of the lot, hands down.

mickey can knock you out with a single body shot and he did brake sanchez ribs with that single body shot and cotto is very vicious on his body attacks
in which in reminds me of chavez attacks

I voted Cotto.

DaHead242
07-31-2007, 04:43 PM
Ward has the best liver shot of all three and considering that what Mickey would do, I'd rather take them from either Hatton or Cotto. Hatton hits like a beast as does Cotto, so I guess I'd just pull one of those two names from a hat. But I would always rather get hit by Cotto or Hatton. Mickey would be too mcuh pain for me.

All three are good body punchers, but i rather take Ward or Hatton body punch instead of Cotto's.

I love watching these guys giving those punches but definitely NOT taking those from the.

I'd actually say Ward if we're talking about one single shot. Part of what prevented Ward from being in the upper tier of fighters was his predictability and lack of top-notch skill beyond the left hook, but he had great accuracy with that left hook and really dug into it. If each boxer only got one try, I'd be more scared of Ward's landing right on the liver than Cotto's or Hatton's.

well hatton ko'd castillo who had never been down let alone ko'd before and broke 4 of his ribs with one body shot, and has stopped lot's of others before that. so he'd be my pick,

Absolute bullshit.

To be a good bodypuncher you have to see the body shot and move with your opponent to land it.

Hatton is no only a hell of a powerful body puncher, but he has speed in his locker as well.

Cotto may have downed Castillo with a body shot, but I doubt he and Ward will have found the opportunity to hit that spot on a to-p class opponent like Castillo in the first place, to break two ribs.

Hatton makes it look easy...those two wouldn't have found the opportunity. You need a boxing brain as well, not a piece of meat like Gatti hanging in front of you like in the Rocky films to show off your body shot skills. Like Corrales, Ward and Cotto would have very probably struggled against Castillo, Ward definitely.

It scares the shit out of me just thinking about it. How do you choose between PAIN, PAIN and PAIN?

paulfv
08-02-2007, 06:02 PM
Cotto, because he's bigger. I think p-f-p Hatton hits harder, but overall I think Cotto's punch would hurt the most

Ward was the best body puncher in his prime out of these three, but Cotto is the best body puncher today.
