For once - I agree with you, ufoalf. Kimbo conducts himself as a gentleman and shows respect for his opponents. Those are admirable qualities to say the least.

Kimbo needs way way way more improvement before he fights a guy like Monson. Thompson has less then half of the ground skills Monson has. Thompson constantly got take downs. The fight would be over quickly when Monson gets him down.

I can see why fighters are so pissed off. Kimbo is on the covers of magazines, fighting on National TV when Kimbo has never fought anyone. And he can barely even beat James Thompson. Kimbo has fought tougher opponents in boatyards then he has a pro.

I agree, it is Gary Shaws fault. But that is why fighters are so pissed off at Kimbo because they feel he hasn't paid his dues. He is probably more famous in America then Fedor, and has made more money then most MMA fighters. And he hasn't even had to fight anyone.

Even on the mat he`s hardly a great submission specialist. He`s terrifically strong and can pull of some nice chokes that are hard to get out of but his BJJ isnt as great as it seems.
