Hearn's is still an absolute force at 154. Probably his best weight even.

Probably ends exactly like McClellan/Jackson II, except a bit more prolonged due to Tommy being a bit smaller then McClellan.

Long right hand of doom ends this one, though.

I think the thing that seperates Tommy from a lot of these punchers is the fact that he'd never have to force the fight or take too many chances. Just rack up points with the jab, throw the right hand, and he used to like to shoot the left hook to the body when the guy was covering up. I think he'd beat Jackson 9 times out of 10. Jackson would always have that punchers chance.

Hearns may well be on his way to a win, until that fateful punch to his chin or rib cage. Given Julian's power, that is a distinct possibility. If Tommy does not get him out early, he could be in trouble.

Wrong. It's Jackson that doesn't have the defense to hang in there against this opponents punches, not so much Hearns. Jackson wasn't all that hard to reach with punches and he'd have a hard time dealing with that reach/handspeed/snap on those Hearns punches. And once hurt, what is Jackson going to do to avoid the followups against a finisher like Hearns?

Hearns crushes Jackson. I love both fighters but Hearns is soooo much the better fighter.

Hearns uses the Jab to keep Jackson at bay until the sixth round, where Tommy lands the bummer of Julian's parade.

Solidly outboxed and perhaps even outpunched. Still a dark horse here, but you have to favor Hearns.

I don't see this one going long either way ... a hell of a wild match up that can end ay any moment ...
