Through out the build up to Calzaghe/Lacy I was picking Calzaghe to win by UD in a competitive fight as I thought Calzaghe had slipped a liitle and had looked easier to hit in his previous fights. On the morning of the fight I changed my prediction to Calzaghe by KO. Though I was rooting for Lacy.

I certainly didn't pick Lacy. In fact I changed my 'Calzaghe Pts 12' prediction to 'Calzaghe TKO9'. Funny enough, I'm more proud of the TKO one. :D

Well, I picked Lacy.He looked so damn powerful and dominant at the time.On the other hand , Calzaghe looked like an arm puncher who was constantly getting injured.So I picked the younger, stronger, fresher, faster, harder hitting Jeff.Then , I watched the fight with my mouth open in disbelief.From the beginning Joe hit Lacy at will, and hardly got hit in return.I kept waiting for Joe to hurt his hand , or for Lacy to turn things around.It never happened.

By probably the same people you were.

China is right, the majority of the people on this site had Lacy by brutal KO. But there were a few that saw Lacy as a big, strong, slow fighter who throws looping shots and has little to no defense. I knew he would be there to be hit...

If they were all picking with their heads...or had even seen Calzaghe fight...this wasnt a HUGE surprise.

BUT, the manner in which he won....quite simply a perfect performance....not even many of the people who picked him wouldve guessed that.
