It's interesting that Max had a brother who boxed and was 6.6 and 1/2, and had an 84 1/2 inch reach. I guess Max had a good sparring partner when it came time to get ready for Primo.
Boxrec lists Carnera's height as 6.5 and 3/4 and reach at 85.
It's too bad that Buddy and Primo never fought, im sure for their time it would have been the bout with the two biggest boxers against each other. Who would win between these two?

Buddy had suprisingly good fundamentals for such a huge fighter, supposedly. A stark contrast to his ultra crude brother.

Then again, Carnera was a decent boxer himself.

Buddy had some power and was durable he beats Carnera ,probably by late tko.

B. Baer was a good boxer, but he did lose pretty much every time he stepped up in competition. His only noteworthy win is a one-fight-away-from-retirement Galento, who quit on a broken hand. Carnera has proven himself several times against top ranked contenders and because of that, is a class higher. I'd pick him to beat the bigger Baer.

Buddy, a huge puncher and very big, strong guy would KO Carnera ...

Buddy Baer is the better fighter on paper but you have to go with what Carnera proved in the ring.

Say what you will about Carnera but he gave it 110% and only lost to the best in his prime.

What do you mean? On paper, Carnera accomplished way more than Baer.

On record as in his knockout percentage/ratio.

It's an amazing record numbers wise before you dig into it. What I think janitor meant.
