Todays paper says his next fight is in November in Perth where he'll try to entice Green out of retirement. If this happens, its time to give up once and for all hoping he'll challenge the best at Middleweight.

November is only 6 to 10 weeks away...dont leave much time for a quality fighter to get ready...looks like another top 50 to 75 non title fight.

Mundine should be looking for early next year a yank in the top 10 to 25 like Mcgirt, simms or Vera. My pick for Mundine would be Vera as he has a good profile and is beatable.

Then its Geale or Sturm mid year.

It'd not so much "allowed to fight" it's the tightening of laws regarding who can enter the country...

Exactly mate, I always had my suspicions of ulterior motives when Mundine spraffed that load of shite about 9/11 on live TV. It was a guarantee that one day he'd have an excuse for never fighting in the US if the opportunity came calling :yep

It would be one of the best things for Mundine's carreer if he can get a fight against Green in the US live on US tv. US media may find his persona very interesting (love/hate - perhaps mostly hate).

Also, Mundine probably wants the taste of a big (-ish) fight on US soil before he retire.

Aboriginal could not vote until 1967, which is pretty poor.

Aboriginals were treated very poorly up until a few decades ago, children taken from families etc, told they were Indian.

But they they gets heaps of benefits, but there mentality is to be felt likes victims so all the benifits somehow seem to mke the problem an even bigger issue. Some whites feel that they should not get the benifits because they dont use as they somewhat could etc etc

I am not sticking up for Aboriginals at all, they have a good opportunity to excel like every other human, but it is a fact that they were treated poorly by the white man of our country and it has left a skidmark in society.

Mundine will do what he wants, which is to make money. Even if there was real problems for him to get into the US, whihc i still don;t hink his comments have resulted in, he could always fight in Canada and be able to get US TV coverage, but while he can make money he won't make any effort to entend himself.
I'm pretty confident he's still working towards a Green fight and know the pay-TV types want it too, but I really have little interest, even if Mundine was putting a title on the line, probabaly not even if Green came back and also had a title to put on the line.
