Camacho at 130 was a totally different fighter, very fast hands & more importantly good boxing skills. with accurate punching. He would be able to beat Paqcuaio to the punch & outbox him. Camacho UD.

camacho destroys pac physically and phychologically .. pac is never the same agian after this match
Even during the final years of his career Macho Man gave fits to much younger and pretty good boxers. It's a rare gift, not just something he got in the gym.
Camacho easily embarrasses a pre-Roach Pacman. After the loss to Marquez Manny learned a few new tricks. But don't forget that Morales decisioned the new and improved Pac during their first match, and a prime Camacho could have boxed circles around a prime Erik at 130.
And I still like Manny and Erik 'cause they make exciting fights. But ya gotta give credit to Camacho's abilities.

Camacho UD.Not too many people can deal with Hector at 130, and I don't think Manny is one of them.

Camacho is not the fighter that Pacman is . Camacho was a could have been great vs. a real great. Camacho lacked psychologically what he needed to be in with Pacman. Pacman would win a UD.

Camacho might be at a stylistic advantage but Pacquiao is just better than him imo. In fact the stylistic advantage of a prime Camacho isn't that great imo, he's just very very fast. Pacquiao imo

I don't think Pacquiao is ready for Camacho at his absolute peak.
He's the better and greater fighter no question, but other than raw athleticism, power, and aggressiveness, Pacquaio wasn't anything special skillwise at this point(The Barrera win was great, but wasn't at all an outboxing-It was a manhandling).
Camacho has literally too much of everything for Pacquaio at this stage, where he is still green around the ears and boxed in an open and predictable manner. Barrera, undertrained and distracted(Not an excuse, just saying) utterly fell apart under the onslaught because he couldn't get away from it. Camacho would.
Camacho wins every round.

I always like to see when a "southpaw's" natural advantage is taken away by fighting another lefty.
Now it is the question of who is the better boxer.
Gotta feeling that is Camacho at 130 lbs.

Camacho wins every round.wins every round? Nah. I saw Camacho fight in 1983 and around that time. He was good and fast, but to say he would outclass Pacman, yet when Hector moved up he did not excel-I do not see it. Pacman started below where Hector did and dominated top notch at welt. where Camacho lost to Tito and Oscar and every other top guy. He should have been able to beat them all if he was able to beat Pac every round. A lot of people say Edwin Rosario made Hector worse, but the fact he was hit by Edwin easily meant maybe there was something to him being more defensive after. Hector in my mind is not ATG and if he is HOF he is barely if at all.

I can see this playing out like Barrera-Hamed actually, with the clown quickly realizing that he can't clown the monster in front of him. Camacho has the stylistic advantage but I see him eating a solid amount of punishment either way. Pacquiao was definitely more predictable at this weight but I don't see him being outspeeded and outthought to where he doesn't land. He can certainly knock a Camacho on his toes down.
Hard to say either way.

Manny has proven much much more against top notch guys than Hector ever did. The comparison is not close. Hector had a great personality tho.

I disagree, as I see Pacquiao pre-seasoning and pre-technically educated as being unable to get by a slick, skilled boxer who isn't in front of him.
I can however see your point. And I would not be surprised if it happened and you were right.
And its irrelevant what Pacquiao went on to do, at this weight and at this time he just wasn't a great fighter yet. A good one, but very much still the clay, as opposed to the amazing sculpture he is now.

Name one mobile slick fighter that didnt stand in front of Pac that he beat? Marquez gave him loads of problems and hes about half as mobile and has about half the speed Camacho had.
