I figured the hype would end soon, I just didn't think it'd end in 14 seconds, I thought Shamrock would beat him provided they'd fight by submission or ground stoppage, still think that'll happen btw. But Seth really destroyed Kimbo and stepped up to the plate. Everyone I had talked to about Kimbo in real life were all saying he'd beat the best, etc... but now I'm ready to hear their reactions on Monday. :lol: I called my friend after the fight and he initially thought I was lying, I told him look it up on youtube/internet. So now the question is what will Elitexc do?
I was shocked after the fight Kimbo went about like he didn't get his ass kicked and was ready to party, that's crazy!

My nephew said the only reason Kimbo lost was because he didnt train for that guy. I told him that other guy didnt train for him either yet he still knocked kimbo on his azz. The only thing better than seeing kimbo lose would be seeing dumb dumbs like my nephew get beat.
I knew they would use that excuse. Tell him that Kimbo is supposed to be this badass streetfighter, ready to fight ANYONE, anytime, anywhere. Thats what EliteXC would have you believe. So I guess that isn't true either.

MY GOD! I knew Kimbo was going to get exposed, but didn't think it'd be like this...The guy didn't even have both feet on the ground whenever he hit him! It was a half of a punch, only one foot on the ground, and he telegraphed it like hell.
He caught him very nicely, but I can't believe there would be any MMA fighter that couldn't take a punch like that. When you fight in backyards, barefisted....You'd think you'd be able to take a damn punch!
To think people wanted to see him and Brock Lesnar go at it. In Brock's last fight he knocked his opponent ACROSS THE RING with a straight right. If he'd have done that to Kimbo I think he'd have shattered his chin in to a million peices.

If you mean he did very well in his career so far, then yes. If you mean he was anything other than perfectly awful tonight, you are not right.
UFC fans don't think Kimbo is anything; A) he doesn't fight for the UFC, B) Kimbos fans aren't UFC fans really.

That to me is whats wrong with MMA...You can pull some guy of the streets because he beat up some fat dudes in a guys backyard and make him a headline act...Slice is a joke, he doesnt train hard, he isnt in shape and he got waxed by a punch when the guy was falling backwards and had one foot on the ground, no way he would generate much power.
Maybe that is the end of Kimbo....However I doubt it...He will rematch this guy and kill him and he will be on the next headliner date.
