Can anyone give me an indepth run down on this guy?

Ive only seen a bit of film on him and he looked impressive. His is record is pretty good for such a young fighter and i know he was a very good amateur. Obviously the Rubio win is a huge scalp after only 14 fights, but his wins over Bayram and Dzuman are very good to, they are both competant. Dzuman especially has shown how tough he is so to stop him is impressive on paper.

Plus if anyone can point me towards any of his fights on the net I would appreciate that.

i saw his fight against rubio, where he looked impressive as all hell, and i saw his fight against bayram, where he didn't look that good. with respect, bayram has an awkward style and was basically mugging him and running rabbit circles around him. at the end, baysangurov landed the harder shots and also scored a knockdown with a cheap shot, which also hints at how well he deals with great pressure.

i always believed that this guy has future champ written on him. but he just gave up his euro belt cause for some reason he doesnt want to fight dangerous brit jaime moore.

i just dont understand that. maybe he has weaknesses only his team so far knows, cause this move makes no sense at all.

no, it makes plenty of sense. why fight for something as worthless as the EBU when you could be in line for a title shot? i believe zaurbek has an IBF elimination fight coming up soon.

Baysangurov has 2 options open in terms of eliminators: an IBF eliminator for a spot #2 against a top 10 guy, or WBA eliminator for official challenger position against Joe Greene. If fight with Green comes about, it will be staged in the US and shown on HBO Boxing After Dark in the beginning of 2009. If Baysangurov's people decide to go for IBF eli, it might as well be staged on Wlad Klitschko vs Povetkin undercard in Mannheim. It seems it doesn't really matter for Baysangurov people what version they choose, as both WBA and IBF champions are under promotional contracts with Don King. And you all know how Klitschkos (who run K2 company) love dealings with Don King, he he.

i see baysangurov is fighting brundage on the wlad undercard this saturday.

i'm hoping they show this on Setanta's coverage as I've never seen him and he does have an impressive looking record.

anyone got any thoughts on this matchup?

Boxrec says KO5. Is this why he avoided Jamie Moore :huh

That was a heck of a call... K-9 looked horrid against Grady Brewer and many other fights. Joel Julio and Sechew Powell stopped him. How the heck did you see this one coming?

Probably, although what may have been considered a better opportunity arrived this time, Baysangurov had twice previously postponed fights with Moore due to injuries and then defended his title against other opponents inbetween that time. I don't think his camp wanted to take a risk against the dangerous Brit for fear of what happened tonight, happening to him.

Thanks my man. K-9 is for real. One thing about K-9 if you look back at his record, any time he loses, he rebounds well. He NEVER stops believing in himself.

A few people convinced me the upset was on the cards...I chose not to believe it, bad call..I thought it was getting to the end for K9 but you cant write off a fighter ever..Great win, good on him..another one bites the dust.
