Does he utilize the jump rope in his workouts? If not, what does he use in place of this? What is his training routine anyway? I know for his latest fight he was swimming, and he has always done the basic heavybag and medicine ball training, but what else?

I have supported him through his best and worst. I still continue to support him to this day, regardless of what people say about him. In fact, one of the things on my bucket list is to meet him one day. And the embrace the chub thing, well, I have nothing against chub and think that people should be comfortable with their body types.:D

Actually, Valuev runs a lot. I remember reading about his routine under his old coach Manvel Gabrellian, thought it may have changed now that he has a new one.
If I remember correctly, he did his running on a track, since that's softer on his knees, and he would actually run 10km regularly. Can't remember details of his work at the gym, but he usually held his training camps are always very focused, where he pretty much lives boxing.

I have much love and respect for Bowe. He and Larry Holmes are my two all-time favorite fighters. I can't believe you've met Bowe! That is the dream of a lifetime for me. What was he like?

I can't picture him running too much with all of that mass. I know he is a really dedicated, hard worker. Puts a lot of time into the sport.

Yes I have always been interested in the training routines of fighters. In fact, one day I hope to be a world class trainer myself. So I will have to pick up a copy of this book. Thank you for the suggestion.
