I have heard of some people that dont get headaches after sparring, but i always get pretty bad headaches after taking some clean shots, might be a stupid question but does this happen to anyone else?

Head movement will erase them.

About a year ago...I was getting clocked on a regular basis, and coming home from the gym with a regular headache. I took a bit of time off of sparring and worked on other things. It is possible to hurt your brain, and to keep it hurt by not getting proper rest and recovery. It's actually quite common for us.
I'd recommend anyone who boxes to do some googling and get familiar with TBI (traumatic brain injury), and learn the basics of what to look for.
Defense and time will help with that. But I can't stress enough how important is it to stay well hydrated. Show up to the gym hydrated and keep drinking water all night. The more the better. Imagine your brain getting banged around inside your head (because, let's be frank, that's what's happening) when it's all dried out.

I used to get head aches when i first started sparring after a long lay off but it went away after a couple of weeks. But to be fair they wernt killer head aches.

they arent the worst headaches ive ever had, but i was just wondering if it was normal because the guys i have sparred with all are pretty experienced, and they say they dont really get them anymore
It may be helpful to drink lots of fluid before your bouts.Fluid in the skull might provide a cushion to the brain, when you're punched in the head.
Here is some information on oral rehydration....

There are several commercially available products but an inexpensive home-made solution consists of 8 level teaspoons ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) of table sugar ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) (sucrose) and 1 level teaspoon of table salt ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) mixed in 1 liter ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) of water (Rehydration Project: Home made recipe ([Only registered and activated users can see links])). Fructose (fruit sugar) or artificial sweeteners should not be substituted for the table sugar in this recipe. A half cup of orange juice ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) or half of a mashed banana ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) can be added to each liter both to add potassium and to improve taste. This recipe is preferable to sports drinks ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) which are formulated to rehydrate healthy individuals and so contain too much sugar and too little electrolytes for this purpose.
Also, apply ice compresses to your head for a while after each sparring session. They might prevent chemical reactions ,which cause permanent damage after trauma, and help the body heal itself.
