Who wins?

Sultan should win a close but clear UD like 7-5 or 8-4, but if he comes in out of shape like he did against Austin, Evander might squeak out a decision. Evander may be well past it but he always comes in great shape.

However, I hope this fight doesn't come off. Wlad should step in and blow Iggy away with a great offer even w/a broken left mit :yep
Let Holyfield fight an eliminator to get to Wlad.

Out of respect, a vote for the old guy - Holyfield TKO.

As much as I like Evander....anybody that believes he'll win is just plain delusional.

Iggy wins via TKO in the last third of the fight.

Iggy wins via TKO in the last third of the fight. how can this statement be made. ibragimov has done what? drew with austin, beat a handicapped bodybuilder ? holy has looked good throughout his recent streak and fought well (although he arguably lost by a point or two) against oquendo who is a top 10-15 guy over the past few years. i don't know how either guy should be a clear favorite

Holyfield is not in his 40's in age, he seems much younger because he has been taking Human Growth Hormone and Testosterone shots. Sultan is going to Knock him out.

What has Holyfield done is comeback beside Oqueerdo? Which you think he lost. Sultan could dick slap Bates, Madalone, and the equally old Saverese and knock them out. Beside Holyfield is a cheater.

You must be the same guys that think Tyson could still win a belt.

Holyfield is washed up. Beating a punching bag in Oquendo and old, useless, Lou Savarese mean nothing.

Ibragimov will swarm Holyfield and probably stop him in 6 to 8 rounds.

I think a lot of fans would love to see Holyfield win and retire a champion like he's always wanted. This would be a great finish for one of the classiest men in the business.

Man, I would love it if he retired after winning this belt. That would be great.

But if he wins, I don't think he'll ever retire. He could get knocked out three times in a row after that, he'd still fight on and on.

There is nothing classy about buying illeagal drugs, being a liar, having 12 bastard children and being a dirty fighter.

OUCH!!!

But true...:yep

I still don't think Ibrag will be able to deny Holy of a chance he's waited a while for.

I think we'll see a huge difference between Savarese's athletic ability and Ibragimov's athletic ability when Holy fights SI. Savarese is not nearly as fast as Ibragimov in either hand speed or foot speed. Ibragimov most likely has a tougher chin and hits harder. Holy will probably get dropped early and be stopped in the middle rounds. Gotta remember he had problems with southpaws; Moorer and Byrd.

I think it'll be a very competive fight, as both fighters are great boxers with average power.

I am leaning towards the Real Deal by decision, though.

I'm going with logic here and saying that Sultan wins it by decision. But honestly I wouldn't be at all surprised if Holy were to win this one. Ibragimov is the lamest titleholder of them all IMO, and I wouldn't completely count Evander out because he might actually beat him with skill and experience and just wind up schooling the guy.

I think Holy would have a better chance vs Maskaev.

Holyfield is gonna somehow pull this off...and out of all the beltholders Sultan is the best pick for Holy because he's not a huge puncher...5th world title for Holyfield!:good

I guess Holyfield has an ok shot here. I don't think Sultan is anything great and if the Sultan shows up that fought Ray Austin than Holyfield has a good chance. Why I think Sultan wins is because he has too much hand speed, can fight at a pace Holy cant, a southpaw, and Holyfield is 44 years old.

The fight will probably be somewhat competitive but I doubt Sultan will face any real threat. Holyfield is looking better than the one that went on a losing streak 3-4 years ago. Maybe its the competition, maybe Holy has a bit of a new lease, or mabye some sort of combination. Regardless, Sultan will beat the old man but he'll be back.

Beside Holyfield is a cheater. the point was neither one should be a huge favorite. i said he did well vs oquendo in a very close fight which showed he still can go the distance with legitimate heavyweights. sultan's not dick slapping anybody besides bates (which holy did as well). oquendo would give sultan fits and could beat him.

I agree. But the WBC title scene is so tied up in knots at the moment, that's not going to be a factor anytime soon.

Iggy's gonna meet the Real Deal.

Welcome to the pros.

Evander walks away with the victory even if he gets pounded on.

But he won't.
