EL BULLY

In the last couple of decades 3 fights spring to mind
Lewis Tyson
Hamed Barrera
And now we have
Hatton PBF
I think Lewis Tyson is the biggest - only because they're heavyweights
Hatton PBF is the best fight in boxing right now. Classic matchup of polar opposite styles. in the ring one fighter throws combos and moves to avoid punishment the other throws combos and clinches to avoid punishment. out of the ring one is a loudmouth, vulgar and ultra disciplined braggard the other a self depricating, down to earth piss-head.
I AM SO FUCKING HYPED ABOUT THIS FIGHT!!!
I'VE GOT THE OLD BOXING BUZZ BACK. I THOUGHT I'D NEVER GET IT AGAIN!!:happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :admin :admin :D :D

Tyson vs Lewis was mostly huge because of the names involved in reality I think everyone knew Tyson was mentally and a bit physically wash up. Either way I think Lewis might have beaten a prime Tyson anyway but he might of hit the canvas at least once or twice.

Curry - Honeyghan
very important fight and honeyghan dethroned the p4p number 1 of the day.
only trouble is he did it in front of 1 man and his dog , which spoilt the atmosphere of a fight of that magnitude.
Noticed that when watched a tape of the fight. Was Curyy not a draw back in those days or was this just a very low profile defence...?
Seems strange that the p4p no.1 fighter in the world doesnt have any mates...:D

Don Curry should nevewr have been made to fight, he'd had the flu was still weak Dave Gorman & Paul Reyes wanted him to pull out Akhbar Muhammad his so called manager forced him in there. A prime Curry would have eaten Honeyghan alive

This fight is easily the best of the three. Is it the biggest? It could be, with how huge Hatton is. Tyson and Lewis did $$, but everyone knew Tyson was shot. Prince was overhyped and not nearly as skilled as Hatton is, although he threw a much bigger punch, p-f-p than RH does.
Still, this could do huge numbers in Britain.

Bob Fitzsimmons v James J Jeffries
Bob Fitzsimmons v Jack Dempsey
Bob Fitzsimmons v Jack Johnson
see this clip, these 2 old fighters were faster than rjj and pbf combined - even the ref was speedy

Nobody knows Mayweather (outside of die-hard boxing fans who have stayed up until 5 in the morning to watch a handful of his fights), so it won't do many more PPV's than Maussa.
Really? Don't you think they'll promote the crap out of it beforehand? If I were ****** (if he's still promoting RH), I would sell this fight starting right now. This is a HUGE bout.

And no, ****** and Hatton aren't together
Right, that's why Hatton's making real fights now. Good for Ricky

Hatton's biggest fight ever(Kostya Tszyu) was made when he was with ******. Did Hatton clearly state that he left ****** because he wasn't getting him the fights he wanted?
