IBF super-flyweight champion Vic Darchinyan flew out for his world title unification bout in the US yesterday with one well-versed Sydney socialite right behind him. Darchinyan's manager Elias Nassar has secured the services of glamorous mum-to-be Bessie Bardot and husband Geoff Barker, whose company Bubble Media shows budding superstars how to best handle the media. Darchinyan is already a knockout when it comes to talking to reporters, with his quick wit and cheeky one-liners a hit. The Raging Bull will fight Mexican Cristian Mijares in Los Angeles on November 1.

Not bad PR !!!! This was a close to a full page in the Sunday Telegragh yesterday. Good on Vic, he deserves the publicity he is finally getting.
Now to get the job done on Nov 2 !

Elias Nasser is a shrewd operator and if he can get Vic mainstream exposore & publicity then good on him .Vic takes the hard fights, as does Katsidis. They deserve to make some money out of it.
