Hey dogrooter im the Ozzie Battler i have payed my dues so i can piss around with answers asmuch as i want.

I was training at the St Marys RSL gym earlier this year and he would pop in from time to time as he was supposed to be head trainer there but he never said anything more than a few words and left. Not sure if he still goes there or has any affiliation with the place.

Other then that he now can be seen on Queen Street St Marys shadow boxing for nickles.Good show.:good

ran into Roy the other day and he's lookin forward to opening the new gym.
I don't reckon makin cracks about ex fighters shadow boxing in the street is funny at all mate.
Maybe when the gym's open you might like to bowl in and show Roy what your made of.

Obviously i didnt see the bloke on Queens st in St Marys shadow boxing outside the dole office.(very obvious)

It is an unwritten rule in boxing gyms across the world that you never make fun of punchy fighters or guys that have taken too many.

Thats why your post clanged and kept clanging.

Roy is a much respected man in the game. He has paid his dues inside the ring and out and to imply he is a punchy shadow boxer when he clearly is not, is strange to a lot of people.

And if he was punchy and you're making jokes about it then some new material is in order.

when Roy is at the gym he is 1 of the best trainers in OZ.
i think u will find it was Garry Comer that was in the USA sparring Lovemore b4 his title fight.

Roy was my first ever boxing trainer

Jesus christ some touchy people on here..I have grew up around the ring and had a few AM fights myself,no need to preach to me about unwritten rules.
