Mayweather is the better fighter and ranks higher all time certainly, but due to fanbase Morales is probably more loved, but so is Gatti, what does it matter?

Exactly. That's about all I was going to say about it.

Mayweather is more respected in terms of his talents as a boxer.
Morales is more respected as a "boxer's boxer."

I do. Say what you will about his personality or who'd you prefer he fight, but no matter who it is, he takes each fight very seriously. He always comes to the fight in phenomenal shape.

:good one thing I respect about PBF is the fact that he normally fights at an apropriat weight for the class he is in ! Weighing over 160 pounds while fighting at the 147 pound limit ect is rediculous ! :deal

Morales is probably preferred by the fans. I would think that Mayweather is more respected for his talent and ability by fighters, trainers, etc.

Yeah, I hate his attitude, but his commitment in the gym is amazing. Floyd gets major props for the ways he conditions, he is without a doubt a true professional when it comes to his work ethic. That being said Morales is one of my favorite boxers ever.
