Getting bored of saying this but another cracking show.

Highlights:

Maloney referring to people on the internet (ie us) calling him a 'miserable twat' - on a live afternoon show, priceless.

Bunce got as close as he probably can to calling ****** ('the Sun's saturday pundit'!) a hypocrite for questioning Haye's chin while defending Khan's

Andy whatsisname gets better and better - really asking the right questions now (why sign with Maloney? Vitali and the entrance). He's even had a short back and sides bless him.

Pavlik's trainer sounds like Pavlik - no nonsense, quietly confident and very likeable. Must have been early morning in the states.

Adam Booth gets a bit of stick but he came across well here. Sounds like their pretty confident of the Wladimir fight.

Andy Kerr seems to know his stuff, I wasn't sure at first and thought he might just be a stuffed shirt but he seems genuinely into the sport. He doesn't mind playing the straight guy for Buncie either.

The daft thing is I work continental shifts so I'm off a lot of Thurdays but I had to work today and missing Bunces Boxing Hour was annoying me all afternoon!!

Sounded like he was pished off his head, saying Vit Klit has just "blown a big sexy kiss through the heavyweight division" and calling one of the Pussycat dolls a tranny. Im pretty sure this was not Vitali Klits intention. Interestingly Bunce didnt reappear for Dawson Tarver, someone must have been throwing the coffee into him at that stage.

I thought Kerr would have slowed down his speech for Vitali though. He just carried on like he was talking to Enzo Mac!

I think Kerr is actually a better presenter than Dempsey, or at least he is for boxing. And interestingly, from the Setanta website: "He has achieved his British Boxing Board of Control MC licence, and regularly works as a ring announcer."

I've always like Dempsey but he was crap the other week with Hopkins and Pavlik. It's good to see Andy Kerr coming through the ranks but he did call Chad Dawson...Chad Johnson for the first 30 minutes of the show on Sunday morning. I hope Setanta will show the 24/7 Calzaghe/Jones shows but I doubt it.

LOL at the tranny comment - my Mrs was in shock when he said that !!!

It was always the plan for him to cover the Klit fight and leave - he said he was dissapointed; would rather have covered the LHW fight.

The 24/7 show is very expensive. It is rumoured to cost HBO 1 million dollars per episode and you know they are not going to give that away!
Just to clarify a small point...I never have a drink before a show. Trust me...once the show goes off that is a very different story.

I think you need a drink watching heavyweight fights to be honest.

My day consisted of watching Leeds Utd vs Brighton followed by a few beers at the pub next to the stadium....

Then a quick ten minute walk home....

Where I discovered I had ran out of beer, so started on the RED WINE :patsch whilst the build up and fight was on.

I was so pissed I had to watch the fight again in the morning to remember who won :lol:

Yes I agree, its amazing how quick it seems to go by. I would recommend 90 minutes, especially if theres a big bout showing on Setanta the following weekend.

Missed the show yet again as Thursdays are a busy day for me :( Checked to see if it was on Setanta BB last night but no joy, hopefully they have it back today!

One suggestion for the show Steve, I know they wont make it longer, but is there any chance they can remove adverts, because you know as well as we do that 1hour just doesn't cover it all and I think nearly all the viewers of the show will support that.

It's something which you can pay into each month, so that when you have to pay for fillings and glasses etc you claim the money back. Basically to avoid a hole in your wage when something needs doing.

You also get £30 for an overnight stay in hospital.

I am charitable - running 13 miles for British Heart Foundation is bloody hard work. Especially when over a stone overweight like I was at the time :patsch

I've got a mate who does that, to make sure he's understood when he's abroad he shouts at foreigners very slowly in English while trying to impersonate their accents. He doesn't even know he's doing it, it cracks me up every time.:lol:

The show is the best there has ever been in this country regarding boxing in my opinion.Bunce asks questions nuthugging presenters on sky,itv etc would never ask and finally we have a show in which frank ****** gets mocked weekly for being a fraud.class pure class keep up the good work long live setanta.
