After Holyfield beat Ibragimov, Lewis will challenge him in the late fall this year.
Forget Vitaly, Holy is the draw :deal

Who takes the WBO crown this time?

If it's the 2-week notice, out of shape Lewis that faced Vitali before retiring, I'd say Evander has a slight chance.

Hard to say what shape is Lewis currently but for sure he have 3 year rust.
It would be better if he tune up with Vitaly before challenging Holyfield.

And then Bowe challenges the winner, and the winner of that fight has to take on Michael Moorer...

its a shame holyfield is getting this shot he should be enjoying his retirement in an old people´s home. Look the US has zero young and upcoming heavies so they pave the way for a completely over the hill and near to having sustained lasting brain damage guy.

Wlad and Vitaly mob the floor with him, i believe lennox will stay retired he knows whats best for him :yep

If LL decides to return (which he wont) he would come in the finest shape imaginable,he is the ultimate pro. He would damage Evander ...

You must have missed the Rahman (and Vitali) fights. Lewis was downright unprofessional in the way he prepared for, and the way he fought, Rahman.
(His trainer, the "great" Manny Steward, was equally unprofessional in that affair too)

Holyfield is actually the man you can RELY ON to be in fine shape. You will never seen him fat and soft.

People are forgetting that coming into a fight in good shape is only part of having a chance at winning a fight.

Lewis has been out of the ring for a longtime now and to be honest doesnt look like he has done any exercise at all.

Lets not worry bout this thread anymore as Lennox wont be coming out of retirement unless he gets offered atleast 50million bucks...

That aint going to happen..Iron mike could only get you that kind of purse.

Geez the heavys suck that much that people want lennox lewis back??

COME ON PEOPLE...

Lennox aint coming back so this is pointless. Hes happily retired and doing well with other projects outside of boxing now, theres no need for him to come back.

Holyfield is getting owned badly by Sultan Ibragimov. 120-108 on all cards

Is that mean Lewis is no better than Foreman in the current time?

Yipes. I'm about the same age as Evander, and you kids wanna put him in an old folks home?? :patsch Wait til YOU'RE in your 40s, it comes up quicker than you think!:yep

If Holyfield faces Lewis now, he beats him. Heck, he arguably should've gotten the decison in their second fight in '99 - quite a few ringside journalists scored for him.

I have 8 years left to hit my 40's:verysad Anyhow i hear ya I can still beat some ass in the gym, anyhow Evander did win the rematch IMO, but Lewis won the first fight so it kind of makes up for that, but in terms of the rematch Holyfield did so much more IMO than Lewis did he pressured the fight he hurt lewis a couple of times he even out jabed Lennox in rounds.

Why would Lewis be interested in the WBO title?

Why would Lewis be interested in the WBO title?

Thats because Holyfield will have it?

i love how people minimise a fighters preparations after a bad showing. lewis might not have been in top shape, but neither was vitali. they BOTH had 2 weeks notice. i'm pretty sure vitali would have trained a tad harder for a fight against a great champ compared to a showcase fight :yep

it all evens out. lewis had experience and the confidence of a unified great champ, vitali had youth.

anyway this is old news. i just think it leaves a sour taste in the mouth of hardcore lewis fans. who wouldn't constantly try to downplay the preparations after seeing their man do the tippy toe dance and flail around like a wally? yeah yeah vitali was cut to ribbons. so what? he didn't do no tippy toe dance into retirement. :hey

What the fuck has Lennox accomplished lately? Let him earn his rating against some solid second-tier opposition first - Derrisk Rossy would be perfect.

Holyfield will always have trouble against Lewis because Lewis is tall; and therefore, hard to land clean, effective headbutts on.
