Charley Burley book

Come across this on Amazon. I presume few of the poster here have read it, Is it any good or is there a better Burley book out there?

The one ive read is Charley Burley, the life and hard times of an uncrowned champion, it is my favourite book on boxing, i STRONGLY recommend it. The cream of the crop.

That's a cracking book. Teeto's pick is probably stronger on the era as whole and is a terrific read, but maybe this one is a little stronger on Burley himself.

This one is also easier to read.

Your welcome Ishy, defo take my advice at some point, you won't regret it. Like McGrain implied, not the easiest of reading at the beginning, but once your past that initial part, it is absolutely impossible to put down.

That is a quality book the thing I like is it gives a fair amount of info on ppl like Williams, Booker and Marshall so you get to know about all the guys on the murders row.

I was talking about the Harry Otty book I haven't read the uncrowned champion book, have you read both? If so which one do you think is better?
