i have been wondering this for sometime now.

Its probably Ricky's only way to win. but i can see now a USA Ref not letting Hatton tie Mayweather up as much as he does to other fighters.

you think the USA is going to let Hatton come to there house with those tactics against there #1 fighter.

i feel Hatton may even get DQ'd in this fight and it wouldnt surprise me if he did.
if Hatton cant use these tactics you know how he hits once and then ties up his opponent after one punch and rabbit punches a few times before the ref does anything.

Well, it depends on the ref... But probably not... Floyd is too smart of a fighter to let him be effective in there... He knows that's Hatton's only chance so he'll hold him till the ref breaks 'em up which is going to be about 12-15 times a round...

If it was promoted by King or Arum I'd agree with you. However, I have more faith in Oscar and believe him to be a fair man.

If Hatton WAS disqualified, I doubt Mayweather and his dysfuncional family would make it to the exit before being lynched by a 10,000-15,000 rabid hatton mob!!

Come on its no worse than firing 1 or 2 shots then jumping out of range.Fighters can't just stand still and take turns hitting eachother lol.Mayweather has a nice reach and fast accurate hands so he likes to fire and get out the way,Hatton arms are very short so when he fires his shots he is close enough to tie up,its really not much difference.

i want the fight to be fair but we are talking about PBF and boxing politics here.
i dont want to see a dirty fight but at the same time i dont want to see the ref break them up everytime Hatton gets close either.

Floyd's a better inside fighter than Hatton anyhow. Hatton holds and hits on the inside, that ain't in fighting. That's holding and hitting, and it's illegal.

Billy Graham and Hatton have always had the answer in the past (Collazo aside). There is no reason to believe they are going to go in and do what is expected. Hattons style seems to have changed slightly in the past couple of years, and I think he has given US fight fans the wrong impression.

They know better than anyone a foolproof plan is needed.
