I'll go with Kickett on points. I think Kickett is a great prospect but his lack of power is whats going to be his undoing.

Kickett is a good prospect but has not yet developed to the extent he can finish off opponents. He should be too good for Elomar ( that's if Elomar doesn't pull out).

He is the better Elomar.

I think he goes the rounds but I cant see him knocking off Willie.

I think kickett can stop him....Elomar has been down before....but im leaning towards a dominant points decision.

Elomar will pull out and Kickett will have to fight a Thai.

Nobody, not even the Great Dibb will fight Kickett.

I hope Elomar rises to the occasion.

Good to see Jamie Pittman back into the swing of things.

Joy Ali aint no Felix Sturm but he has wins over good Aussies like Gary Comer, Matt Shaw and KO'ed Eurcument Aslan in 1 round so a solid hitout.

Good luck to Pitty on his way back up the ladder.

Nitro Boxing just keeps getting better…

Superstar 'Cool' Willie Kickett is back to the Central Coast to headline the star packed November 7 Nitro Boxing promotion at the Central Coast Leagues Club in Gosford.

Kickett calls the Coast his second home after having 3 of his professional bouts here.

Currently the IBF and WBO Asia Pacific Youth Super Featherweight Champion, Kickett 13-0 (5kos) will be fighting big-talking Ahmed Elomar 14-1-2 (7kos) of Sydney. Elomar has previously held the Australian, as well as IBO and IBF Pan Pacific, Titles.

This fight is a grudge match with Elomar trash talking and boldly predicting a huge knock- out win.

Kickett will be putting both of his titles on the line as well as his world rankings. Currently he is ranked WBO number 9 and IBF number 15.

It's one of the biggest domestic fights in Australia this year and the fight has gathered great anticipation. Over 500 people from Sydney and Perth are expected to travel to the Central Coast to be ring-side.

A win for Kickett gets him up the ratings ladder and closer to a world title shot while a loss would put off the dream for a long time.

The main support bout has the Central Coast's own Australian Champion Steve Wills stepping up in both weight and class. Wills battles Indonesian Champion Moses Seran over 12 rounds in a bout for the WBO Asia Pacific Junior Welterweight Title and a guaranteed Top 15 World ranking. Seran has 20 professional wins to his record and is renowned as a world-class puncher. Steve will need every bit of guts and guile he has to win this fight.

Next up is "Mr. Business" Jamie Pittman. Pittman has had a long layoff since he challenged for the WBA World Title in Germany against Felix Sturm. After suffering a cut eye due to a head clash in the 3rd round, Pittman bravely battled on only for the match to be stopped at the end of round 7 when the Doctor ruled he could continue no more.

"Pitty" is back and ready to kick start his boxing career when he meets Fijian Champion Joy Ali who has an impressive record of 25 wins against just 8 losses. Ali has wins over 3 Australian boxers including former Australian Champion Gary Comer (who defeated the Coasts' Boo Cotterill), Ergument Aslan and the talented Edgar Wymarra. Ali also has a controversial draw with Jamie Crampton.

This will be a really exciting fight with Ali who is a wild and aggressive puncher who throws every punch to knock his opponents out.

Johnny Cotterill Jnr bounces back home to the Coast to take on NSW Welterweight Champion Rueben Kennedy in a tough match over 6 rounds. Rueben has a fearful reputation as a one-punch knock-out artist with his big right hand being his weapon of choice.

Cotterill will need to be on his game on the night and most boxing fans believe he may even need to get up off the canvas sometime during the fight to win.

Promoter Angelo Hyder says "Cotterill will win the fight with his own fighting spirit. It will be one of the fights of the night."

A special attraction will be WBA World rated 14 Jackson Asiku in a 6 round bout with Philippino Rey Anton Olarte. Jackson, a former Commonwealth Champion, is originally from Uganda and now lives in Perth where he trains under Craig Christian. This fight with Olarte features two walk-up fighters who would not mind if it was fought in a phone box.

The Coasts' Shane 'Boom Boom' Moore makes his pro debut in one of the night's opening bouts. Moore is trained by Johnny Cotterill Snr and son Boo and earlier this year on a Fox Fight Night saw his close friend Murray 'Muzza' Drysdale get knocked out at the hands of Newcastle slugger Lucus Mason. The proud Novacastrian stopped Drysdale with a vicious combination in Newcastle and Moore was straight into training and challenged Mason to fight him asap.

Promoter Hyder said "These are the fights I love and they're the ones the people love. The fights with passion are the fights that mean something to the fighters. This will be short and sweet and you can bet it will not go the distance. Someone will fall.

The other opening 4 round bout features undefeated Tasmanian Grant "Tassie" Brown in against Sydney's Jerry Spanidis in an interstate *******.

Future star Michael 'Boo Boo' Perry, the newly crowned NSW State 75kg Champion, will try to avenge his only loss when he takes on Michael Hall.

Perry said "It was controversial. I thought I won the fight but the judges did not…I want to knock him out this time so the judges cannot rip me off again."

Hyder says "Perry is the brightest talent I have seen in years. At only 15, soon 16, Perry has a cool calm way about him under pressure and a ring calmness not usually seen in a 15 year old. I believe he is the next Danny Green. He is really developing into a future world champion."

"At the NSW State Titles he dominated the title fight winning convincingly. Several State officials approached me and commented on the class of Perry."

Young Jesse Codey will also be out for revenge against Sydney's Nathan Webber. Codey lost a close decision earlier in the year and is very keen to test himself and judge his own improvement.

steven wills is also fighting for the vacant WBO asian pac lightwelterweight title against Moses Seran.

the guy hes fighting doesnt have the best of records (20 wins 10 losses) but i was very suprised to see that a 19 year old has had 30 fights! i looked down to see what year he turned pro and how old he would have had to have been.... he turned pro in 1999! HE WOULD HAVE BEEN 10! not only is that crazy but he fought chris john (who at that stage had won 15 straight fights) in the year 2000 when Moses would have been 11 years old! wtf..

Fark me.. i thought Willy was going to stop him in before the round was out. Look down and before you know it Willy is as stiff as Ron Jeremy.

Anyone know what started the crowd? One tool jumped in the ring after Willy was cleared out and was being a bit of knob sticking his fingers up at the crowd.
