Alright, so after his devastating loss to Arthur Abraham by KO in the 5th, Ikeke comes back against a 17-0-0 oponent known to hit like a ton of bricks.
Any thought on this bout?

My thoughts are that Ikeke should have stayed retired and that he is only taking this fight/loss for the money. Pascal by stoppage.

You mean Ikeke is still fighting? Why?!
Money , it's his first fight back since Abraham so it seems pretty obvious he's there to be a good name , take his money and lose .

Actually, since he is fighting someone from Yvon Michel's group, I'm pretty sure he's not receiving a lot of money. Yvon Michel is known not to pay his oponents too well. So it must be another reason.:blood

Yeah, it's probably just because he likes losing.

I like Ikeke but Pascal will be too much for him.
A little remark
Yvon Michel is not "known for not paying his oponents too well". In the past 2 years or so, he has attracted to Montréal Librado Andrade, Randall Bailey, Donald Camarena, Kingsley Ikeke and a host of others fighters (say, like Marlon Hayes) who work regularily and are not desperate for a fight. So he must be paying at least fair purse money.
Yvon Michel, however, IS known for probably (no way to know for sure) not paying as weel as Interbox, who can lean on Lucian Bute and a Quebec-wide network of sports bars to pack around 8000 people in Bell Centre everytime they hold a show.

No, its do or die for him, i think he sees it as an opportunity to make some noise and come back impressive. I dont think he will beat Pascal though, especially not after the long layoff. Before he lost to Abraham he was considered as an verry good athlete. I hope he stayed in shape. Im excited to see if he can go the distance with Pascal. Abraham finished him in round 5.

Abraham is a much better fighter than Pascal right now...this is a worse risk for Pascal than it is for Ikeke, who needs a win like this to get back into contention...Pascal could've chosen a lesser option, as Ikeke is tall, and can box...i think Pascal might lose this one...

if Ikeke gets his jab going the fight is over.

Ikeke is a tough step up for Pascal, who I happen to like. Ikeke is a rangy, experienced, tough guy who has a nice jab. This is no gimme at all for Pascal if Ikeke comes to win. The main reason I think Pascal wins is because of Ikeke's inactivity. Pascal's speed might have something to do with it as well. But this is a nice match-up and a big step/risk for Pascal. Glad its on ESPN.

inactivity shouldnt be an issue, Kings lives in the gym and spars all the time seriously if Pascal wins its because he is the better man.

the thing is pascal is a HUGE prospect, he got great speed, devastating power and great ring tactics, its not an easy night for ikeke, but I'm sure it wont be for pascal too

I've read that Ikeke stays in the gym and that makes his inactivity not as much the issue as it could. You know the old saying sparring and the real thing aren't the same. I really think that has to factor in some tonight. Yeah, if Pascal isn't better Ikeke will beat him regardless but I feel the inactivity has to play a part. If not than this fight becomes a real danger for Pascal. Ikeke is no joke, but then again I thought he'd beat Abraham.

Pascal is orthodox. Problem with Pascal is his defense sux. Sure he has speed and power but how long will he survive without defense. Just listen to the Teddy Atlas repeat it 100 times during his fight with Cruz. I would say due to Ikeke's inactivity/ring rust, Pascal has a slight edge because of his power.... otherwise I would call it a pick em fight.
