Take Klitschko off the list - he's never been counted after being knocked down. I think you could put Zab Judah up there in his place...

Also, to my knowledge Litzau was only stopped once and he beat the count - does that qualify him as having a glass jaw?

Zab's never been KO'd(ref stopped fight after he stumbled against Tzyu, and the ref waived off the bout after Cotto hit him with some good shots in the 11th)

I like it, but I too would take Wlad out. Oleg Maskaev would be a much better candidate - jeez, how many times has been rendered unconscious, 4, 5?? And again, Jones is too high - Fraudley clearly should have the number 1 spot. Truthfully, I'd put Judah in there before Jones - he was starched in his prime, and rocked by the feather-fisted Baldomir.

Litzau and Rahman are, of course, excellent candidates, with classic Grade A china chins. :yep

Next month, after Pavlik starches him, it's gonna be time for Taylor to get a mention! :nod

I agree, about Taylor. How anyone can say Litzau does not have a Glass Jaw is beyond me.

Not above Fraudley. At least Hide stood in there with some top level fighters for a few rounds, and wasn't knocked out cold by some light-hitting regional journeyman.

Seriously, when it comes to glass jaws, NOBODY has a chin as fragile as Fraudley. He probably gets hairline cracks shaving in the morning.

Why don't you post some recent accomplishments?
When did Rahman and Wlad get his chin tested to be
at your August list since August already started?:patsch

it's hard to judge Wlad lately he hasn't taking a decent punch in his last 4 fights

Amir Khan deserves recognition on this list.

In July he burst into the rankings with his extremely wobbly showing against certified feather-fister Willie Limond !

:happy

Khan's jaw shows it has potential to go down in history as one of the most embarrassingly fragile chins, on a touted fighter in ANY ERA.

Pavlik may or may not KO Taylor, but no way does Taylor have a glass chin. He got hit with how many flush right hand leads from Hopkins and didn't go down. He was wobbly, but he didn't go down. Now, Hopkins may not be the hardest puncher in the world--cetrainly not feather-fisted, but a KO artist either-- but if a fighter is glass-jawed it doesn't take a huge puncher to get him out of there. Audely and Litzau are prime examples of this.

Jeez, how the heck could have forgotten THAT shaky-chinned hype job! :patsch

Clearly a top five candidate. Drop Jones and Wlad, put Fraudley at 1, keep Litzau at 2, move Rahman up one, and and then put Khan and Judah in at 4 and 5.:yep

how can you have roy number one? Name me one other all time great u lames constantly pick on as being flawed, or having a flaw? The price of success is a large amout, and the haters wait to cash in on a slip up or two. You can't dominate how he did, or ever be considered p4p the best with a glass jaw.
Go out and play hide and seek with yourself...get lost lame.

His list is really a "who I don't like" list. Always has been.

Also, to my knowledge Litzau was only stopped once and he beat the count - does that qualify him as having a glass jaw?Due to help from the referee you can say that about Wlad, if you look at the Sanders fight wlad hd a 14 second count on the first knockdown and went back down without another significant punch landing.
Plus the referee could have counted to 100 in the Brewster fight and wlad wouldnt have been in a state to continue.

He went down against Spinks.

"At least Herbie Hide didn't get starched by some light hitting journeyman"

Hold on, if I remember he got starched a couple of times by someone who'd barely even won a fight before! an unknown african in Joseph Chingangu & of course the unbeatable.. Mindaugas Kulikauskas

At least Fraudley lost to someone who'd beaten Hoffman & Williams, a few prospects.. & actually had credentials as a boxer. Even if he got laid out.

In Zakmans world of boxing there shouldn't be any knockouts. If anyone even stumbles after taking a punch it's "GLASSS JAWED JOKE!", Seriously he hates anyone who might not have such a good ability to take a punch. I wonder how he'd fare in a ring.

Chingangu wasn't much, but he could crack, far harder than Michael Sprott. The other guy was a nobody, sure, but Hide was stopped on CUTS, not laid out cold like Fraudley.

Believe me, I've seen both fight, and Hide could take a better punch, from better fighters. No way would Fraudley even have made to the 6th against Bowe.
