We have Oscar V Pac Man, not to mention Victor Ortiz and JML on the undercard :tong then we have our very own carl froch and nicky cook in world title fights. We also have Herbie Hide fighting in Russia against what on paper looks like a real test. Oh and theres Khan. :huh

Not bad, but I can't say I'm getting too excited though. There is the prospect that Khan will get wasted again, so that's something to look forward to...

This fight stinks (and should not be taking place), but I have to admit I am looking forward to it a little just on the very extreme chance Pacman messes Oscar up.

I'm looking forward to the Froch fight the most, im not a big fan of his, but I'll be interested to see if he has what it takes to deal with higher classed opposition. Also looking forward to the Khan fight, he's always interesting to watch, anything at all can happen with him

Looking forward to going to the Froch fight but think were gonna stay over nottingham so would mean watching the oscar/pac fight in a sports bar or something, i'm not really looking forward to that fight but "intrigued" maybe, looking forward to the JML fight though.
Is the Nicky Cook fight gonna be over here as part of a UK leg?

well i am sorry but IMO a true boxing fan would not look forward to this money making sham, oscar is twice the size of the guy, its pointless

I'm in the same boat going the Froch fight, but I think I'll avoid the DLH result and watch it on sky + when I get back to the big smoke

Anyone know exactly what times the fights will be shown over here? I have got to plan my weekend around it because I want to see all the fights. I am a fan of Froch so his fight will interest me the most and the Cook fight will be good to see , it is always nice seeing a Brit in a world title clash. The Khan fight will be awful if shitty matchmaking comes back and I think it will and I have the same concernsa over the Oscar vs Pac fight as every body else but I will still watch em unless they become ppv.

when this fight was made i hated oscar even more for taking pac away from 135, but as time has wore on the more i think this is a genuine fight, maybe its hearing freddie roaches comments or even buncey every week on his show says its genuine i just hope im not wrong
in the past we have had fights like this where one has a serious size disadvantage but the fight lives up
fingers crossed, if it turns out shit you can say i told you so

Sky can stick their bill up their big batty. The Cobra is fighting and that is the only fight you need to watch.

Rileys is usually members only well it is here.
I'm thinking bars will cotton onto the fact that because of all of us in nottingham after the froch fight they could make a pretty penny staying open for the oscar/pac fight, should be a cracking atmosphere!!

Theres only one fight this weekend that means anything and thats Carl Frochs, its been a long time coming, a very long time.
The rest, of course great interesting matchups but this all i want to see and know, the rest = blah blah, told u so etc etc
If anything beats Froch, its the people that didnt STEP UP or got "injured" etc that is to blame

What, people like, ooh I don't know...like Carl Froch himself?
If he ends up fading into obscurity without having a career defining fight, like Junior Witter, he can only blame himself.

Im with you here benj."look forward" is way too strong for this meaningless joke fight.
Of course, on the night i'll put it on and watch it out of curiosity and for the big fight atmosphere, (if its not PPV here).....but not "look forward to" Months, weeks and days ahead like Cotto-Margo,Calzaghe-Lacey,Tyson-Holyfield,Hagler-Hearns(etc,etc...REAL fights)
No chance, its nowhere near good enough.

Only really looking forward to Froch - Pacscal and Lopez on the undercard of Oscar's bullying session. Manny should be proud of himself if he lasts the distance, and if he does manage to go 12 I hope he doesnt take a massive beating throughout, but its hard to see him being able to do anything to keep De La Hoya off him.

What i meant was, it seems,to the best of my knowledge,a few have avoided or been injured, maybe that was the case.
Regarding "anything beating him" i meant these pullouts etc true or untrue are not helping him
Now, im looking forward to Prizefighter :p I know he isnt on it but before it was official i was sure i saw on here someone mention Kevin Anderson was featuring, was this ever the case? I was surprised to some extent.
Thanks
