Based upon his fight with Ikeke, I think him fighting Green would be a mistake.

Pascal doesn't seem to know how to punch properly. He slaps and doesn't get full extention or turn his punches. I think Green is too strong to fast for him. Green has real power too.

I think Green will knock Pascal out for this reason . Pascal has a weak defense and Green is heavyhanded! Pascal is not a puncher, who can take advantage of Green one weakness, his chin. Green is probably quicker as well.

Green is much better technically. Pascal is a Roy Jones Jr. wannabe.

Indeed, Pascal tries to fight to like RJJ , but he does not have the reflexes like Roy to avoid punches. Pascal gets hit alot, RJJ was able to avoid getting touched fighting in that style.

Ikeke shouldn't have been able to last past the 6th the way he was fighting. Pascal slapped and mugged him for 12 rounds and even tho he landed dozens of clean shots, Ikeke was never really hurt by anything. That is telling, considering that Ikeke has 20 months of ring rust and Abraham KOed him in his last fight.

After tonight's performances, the idea of fight is actually more laughable than Johnson eyeing Peter.

I see nothing to suggest from either fighter that this fight would be anything other than a pick em fight. Green has faced the better competition,no doubt, but he has also struggled with lesser fighters than Pascal. Like Linton, who arguably beat him, and McCrary, who had him ready to go. The 4 or 5 times I've seen Pascal, he's won clearly, although as some have mentioned...his defense isn't great and his power is average at best. Green may be the more polished fighter here, but Pascal has just as much talent. I'd love to see this fight happen though, instead of Manfredo-Green.

Exactly. Unless Pascal corrects most his flaws overnight, I see him getting KOd by a counter punch while throwing a wide hook like he always does.

Exactly. Pascal doesn't seem to have the power to take advantage of Green's major weakness, but if he cracks that shaky chin on the button ANYTHING can happen. Don't forget - some midwestern tomato can had Green all but KTFO. Pascal is a better fighter than that, certainly.:yep

Why shouldn't this fight be made? These are surely the type of fights that seperate the men from the boys, so to speak?

Gut feeling, Pascal got the guts... and is still growing as a fighter. And we've all seen that Green is not unbeatable too.
So far, Pascal doesn't know the meaning of a loss, although a lot of folks predicted a loss against Ikeke. Pascal will keep improving rapidly now that he has all the time he needs to hone his skills as a professional boxer instead of studying full time like he did in the last two years...
Next fight, all the doubters will rise again before the beginning of the fight but second guessers will be there to underrate again after. Same old story.

Green by KO, but it would be fun to watch and Pascal would have his moments. I hope FNF makes this fight.

The biggest Roy Jones wannabe out there is Roy Jones himself.

I'd like to see Pascal in one more fight before facing Green. I feel that this would be a great fight and Green should have interest in facing Pascal.

That doesn't work when neither is a real man. :yep

Good matchup, but it would be painful to watch. Ten rounds of amateurish potshotting slathered with all of the penetrating metaphorical improv Teddy can muster. I like Pascal by an ugly SD.
