:blood...:blood...yeah, that...
Anyway, Phillips has to be the most pathetic choice of comeback-debut opponent yet of the recent wave of resurgent heavies. I mean, say what you will about Jeremy Bates, Talmade Griffis, Cliff Couser, Bob Mirovic, or John Castle...none of them were three years the senior of the fossils using them as measuring sticks, and none of them had been starched 12 times.
And this isn't going to be televised...I just don't see the logic behind this. How is this any better than a sparring session? Even if Riddick shares the same championship pipe dreams as his comebacking brethren, he can't possibly think this is a step in the right direction. Won't tell him - or us - anything. Unless he loses, in which case he should, for his own protection, be forbidden from lacing up for so much as an exhibition.

It doesn't get much worse than a guy coming off seven consecutive knockout losses and 11 knockout losses in his last 12 fights. That said, I would still tune in for Holyfield-Bowe IV.

Pathetic is the word for it. This guy sounds even worse than that bum that Morrison fought - although at least he has more experience getting knocked out, I suppose.
