LEE McALLISTER insists he will rule the world - so Arek Malek should have no chance against the Aberdeen Assassin on his home patch tonight.
Malek can only be considered a warm-up for the Scot as he prepares to face John Murray for the British lightweight title in Manchester in December.
But McAllister swears he will not take 30-year-old Pole Malek lightly.
Dons-daft McAllister talks as fast as he punches, however, and with 26 wins in 27 fights the lightweight is hard to ignore.
Last night he said: "I am not overlooking Malek but Murray is my career-defining fight.

"I can beat Murray seven days a week no problem - I am more concerned about what's on the telly at night.
"I will beat him and everyone will take notice of what talent I have. This is when my boxing career really takes off."
McAllister has given up both the WBU lightweight and light-welterweight belts and has charted a route to the top of the world.
After Murray he plans to fight IBO light-welterweight champion Ricky Hatton, European title-holder Jon Thaxton and Amir Khan. He said: "I will be world champion because I will beat anyone who is put in front of me.
"I have a lot of confidence and it is up to all these fighters out there to prove me wrong and take me on to prove they are the best.
"I am not full of crap. I can beat these guys and your Amir Khans. I will do all that and go on to bigger and better things.
"I'll go over to Las Vegas, the MGM, anywhere to fight.
"The American lightweights are the strongest but they can throw my name in the hat. I will fight any of them and beat any of them.
"I am up there with Hatton and Calzaghe as the best in Britain. I have offered to fight Hatton in the past and I will wait until he comes to me."
McAllister is itching to bring glory nights to Pittodrie.
He said: "I want to become Scotland's best boxer and fight at Pittodrie. I am a diehard Dons fan and the directors have told me I can fight there whenever I want."

Well, we can only hope he backs up his words. At least he has plans to actually fight the best in Britain before stepping up.

Heard he stopped Malek in the 3rd round.
I didn't bother going as tables were a bit overpriced for a 'warm-up' fight.

SELF-CONFESSED motormouth Lee McAllister last night fired a final blast at John Murray then vowed to maintain radio silence until he's ready to take him on for the British lightweight title in December.
The Aberdeen Assassin geared up for the Manchester showdown with a crushing points win over Pole Arek Malek in front of his home-town fans.
McAllister said: "I want to smash Murray's face in to get more recognition from people in boxing.
"I'm going to finish him off so bad that he's not going to know what has hit him."
The Scot - who vows to brush aside Ricky Hatton, Amir Khan and John Thaxton on his way to ruling the world - added: "I can do everything and have the talent to match the talk.
"I can box, fight, move and I have a big mouth as well. That is how you get yourself the big fights - by talking yourself up.
"But I am going to keep my mouth shut for a while now and just concentrate on doing the business in December."
Manager Tommy Gilmour said: "Lee almost stopped Malek in the third with a great left hook that left him looking like he was in Come Dancing.
"If Lee does the business against Murray, everyone out there will have to take him and what he says on board."

I have never seen this kid fight, but Im warming to him already:smoke

Its about time someone out-mouthed the big mouth bottler John Murray for once.
Yup, I stil cnnot forgive Murray for his outbursts about what he was going to do to Ricky Burns, before Murray ducked out of the matchup. I hope Lee fights like he talks, & gives Murray a beating. If anyone deserves a whupping, its John Murray.

You get the big fights by impressing the viewers and TV execs - and also by knocking people out.

5 KO's from 27 wins hardly suggests an amazing world class prospect, bearing in mind most of those received speeding tickets on the way to the arena.

The guy is a joke, and a beating waiting to happen - hopefully soon.

A lot of people could compare his statements to those made by Carl Froch. Now - my opinion is that Froch is a very dry kind of geezer, that was the impression I get from his TV interviews and also his appearance on Soccer AM - he is clearly a man who makes tongue in cheek statements to make people pay attention and laugh (lets be honest here).

McAllister seems to be a mass of contradictions - one minute he is a two weight world champion, the next he wants to strive to prove he is the best lightweight in Britain. Strange......

Having not seen him fight yet, I have no idea how good he is. Obviously Jeff was in there with him and convinced that he won - has anyone else seen him?

"I offered Hatton a fight" is hilarious. He should have topped it with "He turned it down to fight Mayweather". Froch is tongue-in-cheek, but he has also face, and defeated, better guys. A guy on a dinner show in Scotland should not be booking himself a fight at the MGM Grand. It is a nonsensical rant, and should be seen as just that.

I will look forward to the fight with Murray.

He offered hatton a fight well that would get as much response as junior witter got at least witter had a genuine world title.

I think Murray is a hard fighter to rate - because he has struggled to blow away bums yet destroyed Meager.......

Knowing what Sky are like for hyping people, if he had anything at all he would have been on TV a few times, especially with what looks like an excellent record on paper.

The rant about Hatton is hilarious. I could imagine a handwritten fax coming through to Richard Schaefer's fax machine with incorrect grammar and puncutation - ended with a signature and footnoted 'Lee McAllister - Two weight world champion'

Yeah it would be on skysports news at least every hour.

I think John Murray is the best prospect in the UK today and when he's on form is going to take some beating Murray-Thaxton is everything a domestic fan could wish for. I don't think he'll progress all the way to world class but he's certainly better then the likes of Appleby and Truscott who benefited from an out of sorts defending champion and clever matchmaking to win their titles.

This Lee McAllister sounds like a complete wanker. only 5 ko's in nearly 30 fights!!! Cant wait to see someone shut him up. And I hope that is Murray who does it.
Also McAllister has lost to a certain Dean Hickman who Murray ko'd in 4 last time out.

Like maist Aberdeen sportsmen he does one or two things at a Local level and then some on a low National or Euro level and thinks he is the Dogs Bollocks (Like any Aberdeen Fitba player, Richie Ramsay(golfer) etc) who then struts around like he is Muhammed Ali, Pele or Tiger Woods!!

I hope the punk gets knocked out quicker than Khan did.

If he is going to run his mouth he should stick to the Murray fight, and stop claiming to be on the same level as Calzaghe and Hatton.

you got to admire his confidence but i dont think it will do him any good

If he beats murray i will re-evaluate my opinion, but for now i think hes the most over rated fighter in Britain

Not many people actually rate him though.

He is a bit like Golden Boy Marvellous Anthony Sugar Ray Small Hitman - in that the only person who actually believes all this crap is himself!

I defend Scottish fighters completely, but in Lee's case, he's a prick and a area level champion at best. No he's better then that, be fair... He's a nice lad in person but obviously is trying to market a non-punching style by been a loudmouth. I think he'll put up a good show against Murray, I don't think he'll win but I think he'll prob go the distance and give him a good fight.

He walks about Aberdeen in clubs like he is Carlos Monzon, with no reason to be. He's an aggressive lad who gets his cronies and cousins to give hidings to people that he is offended by, on a regular basis. He has Aberdeen syndrome (and note im born and bred Aberdeen).

And he is delusional.

Before the accident he could have went on to be a British champ, but now he has decent skills, and would get mugged by Mmurray.

I agree about Aberdeen Syndrome being a syndrome, but i dont think that he is one of the culprits. he`s a boxer, its his job to talk himself up!
i believe he is doing a great job of promoting boxing in scotland and at the moment is one of the only hopes scotland has of success in boxing,
IMO. I cant wait for the Murray fight, i think its gonna be quite a battle.

I'm just talking having met him a couple of times since I dropped the jeffro beatdown on his ass. When i've met him he's seemed a good lad he sat with me and my dad at the Foster-Hughes fight. You'll know how he generally acts much better then me. I must say he doesn't get much local love though thats crazy... Most people love the jeffro in Blackpool.

Nobody knows who Carl Johanneson is in Leeds - he generally knocks around with three or four mates in Yates's staring at the ladies.

Me and a mate went over, he was shocked that we recognised him.

i suppose its always the way forum`s go but: i said he was ONE of the only scottish boxers with a chance at the moment.
anyway, i realise that people might not apreciate the way he acts sometimes but he must be doing something right, always sells out his hometown fights. I think its just a case of waiting to see what happens come the title fight.

the warm-up fight seems to have been the best thing he could have done, was risking an injury i suppose, but to knock that guy on his arse is no mean feat. he`ll be buzzing now with the murray fight round the corner.
