Another great decision in an EBU title fight. Hope Maludrottu who will fight for the WBC title is proud of this "victory" 115-114 115-113 115-113 in his country. He can say "thank you" to the referee in the 7th after the KD and he can say thank you to the judges.

Donīt cry around like a little baby who lost his puppet, Fitir. You showed in the past very often that you canīt judge a fight with a French (or like in this case an Algerian- French) fighter objective. After the fight, who was pretty close, Boulegcha himself said in the interview that Maludrottu was the winner and that the fight was very close, and he said when Simone vacate the title that he would want to have another chance for the EBU- title. Maludrottu wasnīt at his best, everyone who knows him saw it. I knew it, that this would be dangerous. In December he will fight for the World Title and yesterday he fought an on the paper weak fighter (8-3-2), itīs hard to get motivated for this one. Another question, when like in this case, the fighter decided to go down after a body attack to pace himself, and spit the mouth guard out, what should the referee do? It was the 1st time Maludrottu spit it out, so even a point deduction he couldnīt do or so. It was clever from Simone, who was than OK again, and in the 11th round he almost KOīd the Algerian- French, so what? Donīt look at the judges without seeing the fight and write in a forum indirectly "My hometown fighter was robbed!"

If Maludrottu isn't beating guys like this comprehensively he's in big trouble when he takes on Hasegawa .
He probably won't win a decision in Japan if it's close either so he's gonna have to improve big time if he seriously thinks he can win .

I agree, he would only win on points when he lands every round at least twice as many punches as the Japan fighter, and that wonīt happen, Hasegawa is a very good fighter. But Maludrottu is also a pretty good fighter who has chances to win, he has the power to knock Hozumi out, but he must increase his precision and his speed...
but I see Hasegawa winning a close point decision (if Maludrottu is in top shape, not like yesterday)...

Cause of course you're very objective to judge the close decisions obtained by Italian champs in Italy ? Keep reading italian newspapers and don't come to an international forum if you don't want to read another opinions. Yes it was close and a draw would have been OK but what is sure is that Maludrottu didn't "beat" Boulegcha. It could have gone either way but the problem is that it is always the same way. Boulegcha was nothing, Maludrottu was the champ, he had a shot to the WBC title and he fought in his country. The max Boulegcha could obtain was a close decision against him. It's normal he is happy with the decision 115-114 etc., he wants another shot and it would be stupid to complain... Even a KO was difficult. What do you think of the referee's attitude after the KD in the 7th ? If the KD had occured sooner in the round I don't know what this guy would have found to give Maludrottu extra time to rest. Pathetic.
What did Maludrottu say after the fight ? Something like "he was good, it was difficult to find the target, I was not 100%"...sounds like excuses imo. You don't need excuses if you consider yourself as the winner. OK he was not 100% but a champion in his country who wins with such a performance it is far to be impressive.

Very funny ! So in your opinion such an advantage for the local champ happens in Japan but it's different in Italy ?

Maludrottu wanted to fight for the World Title for over one year now, but his managment didnīt get him a title shot, and when he fights a mediocre opponent in the French- Algerian, and wasnīt that good prepared I understand it, it is normally frustated. But against better opponents, like Lopez or Kelly, you can see that heīs a good fighter, nothing special, but good enough to be a paper champ or so. But the problem of people like Fitir and this other guy here is, you read only and barely see fights, and making judgements by looking at the rankings at boxrec isnīt that good...
