Forget all the hype for a minute and the desire to see too undefeated peak P4P fighters squaring off and think about styles here.
A lot of people dislike Mayweather's defensive style.
A lot of people dislike Hatton's wrestling style.
Put the two together and what are we going to get?
Is it going to be an exciting clash between slick boxer and wild brawler?
Or will be a bore fest of half running and half clinching?

The excitement will be generated by some ohh and ahh moments where Hatton gets rough with Mayweather. In the end, though, Floyd is going to win fairly comfortably.

It's gonna be a fight to remember for sure.
I think, with hatton's footwork, he is able to be in floyds face for 36 minutes.
So it can become pretty rough and exciting.
I think that Hatton has a chance

I've found that Hersisia's don't have the greatest track record when estimating chances. =P

Hatton will wrestle a bit for sure(grab flurry grab)- but he has come to fight and knows that work rate and avoiding too many potshots is key. Its going to be a brutal fight.

I do worry that Hatton will take too many coming in. He needs to be accurate when trading with Floyd. I hope he breaks PBFs ribs

How is Hatton boring, he hugs a lot but he's a relentless attacking fighter.

yeah but he holds too much it breaks up the flow of the action
it gets monotonous and tedious watching him

How is Hatton boring, he hugs a lot but he's a relentless attacking fighter.yeah he hugs we all; know that ray robinson hugged lamotta,lewis,tyson,foreman,ali....EVERY ONE DOES IT i hate when people say this hugging as a bad thing it's been in the fighting sport before boxing itself...sullivan used to do wrestliong holds and throws...ali used to tangle up like nobodies business. anyways even if it is hugging ricky presses foreward so fast and barges through anybody...it negatyes his size and makes him a bull

Floyd could finally get a KO in the late rounds if he would go for it. Hatton will be a sitting duck by round 10. There will be no KO, though. Instead he'll give Hatton two of the first three rounds, then win all the rest in full control just like he's done in his last few fights. This fight will be a joke, Hatton has no chance.

Yes, that's why they'd better put a good matchups on their undercards to get me to definitely watch the PPV.

Probability-wise, I think it has a much better chance of being ugly over thrilling. Both men are fighting at a weight where thay have yet to demonstrate an offense that matches up with their defense.

Nope. Hatton will bring the fight to Mayweather. Wont stop attacking for the full 3 minutes of each round. And we will see where Mayweather's heart is at. This will be a great fight. And the fans chanting, and partying will make it even more enjoyable. An upgrade from the Mayweather/DLH farce.

I think PBF has the potential to make it a stinker by running away all night. Maybe if Hatton dresses up as PBF's girlfriend he may get the urge to throw punches

I Think Hatton Will Make Floyd Fight Thus Making The Pretty Boy Exciting

i like that Hatton is a good pressure fighter means he will keep comming so he can eat these damn shots PBF will throw...Hattons footwork....lol.....please PBF has seen good solid pressure in a prime castillo..... has Hatton seen anything close to what PBf will bring....fukk no and when he gets in the ring.....it will be a shell shock and he will end up chasing and not throwing because his timing will be allllll off because even though he gives PBF his props and acknowledges his strengths.....he really doesnt know until he actually sees and feel it first hand....you just cant train for it.....but u got a better shot at training for what Hatton does.

I for one do not think that a Hatton fight has the ability to be a bore fest, I have never been bored watching Hatton.

Both guys aren't the most exciting out there. Hatton clinches too much and Floyd refuses to engage. The fight will consist of Hatton chasing Floyd the whole fight holding and pushing him back with Floyd trying to avoid getting mauled countering and moving all night.

I think it will be more exciting than people think. I believe Mayweather will use his counter and defense ability to break down Hatton. I think this will be a fight we will see Mayweather agressive, and going for a late KO.:bbb

boring. hugging, clinching; hatton will try to make it a fight but not enough exchanges coming back from PBF. this one's gonna stink!
If u were to name a animal after a fighter's style, which animal would u choose.
Baldomir the bull
Floyd the cheetah
Mosley the panther
Hatton the wolf
Cotto the lion

If you read the posts, the idiocracy ..lol reigns supreme. Most have not seen floyd fight until baldomir. To say he refuses to engage. That is the dumbest shit I have ever heard. The only..I mean the only fights when floyd did not stand and trade were with guys that were bigger then him and outweighed him by 10 pounds or more. That is being a smart fighter. Tussling with a bigger man would sap a lot of energy and if floyd gets tired then he is vulnerable. He boxes the bigger guys and stands his ground against anybody his same size. ANYBODY. If you dont know, dont post dumb shit. The reason hatton's clinching is scrutinized is b/c he does it compulsively he clinches for no reason. He clinches to push the other guy backwards LIKE JOHN RUIZ. I mean it is no excuse if you are in the middle of the ring to clinch like that. Hatton comes forward all the time and when he does he may throw one punch and clinch or just clinch. Its not even like he got hit with a good shot or the other guy is bombing away at him. He clinches before the other guy throws a punch. That shit is illegal.
