Arturo Gatti - Warrior, has been around too long, but he has given so much to the sport of boxing and for its fans...for that, I can't not be fan

Chad Dawson - Extremely talented fighter who has the potential to take over the light heavyweight division. Reminds me of a little of Roy Jones, although, he will probably never reach that level.

Tommy Hearns - A freak of nature. Nobody right now at 147 or 154 could have beaten a prime Hitman. Cotto, Hatton, Margarito, and Cintron would all have suffered the same fates as Cuevas and Duran while Mosley and Mayweather would be outboxed and probably stopped. Hearns didn't have the best chin, but there's no shame saying I was stopped by Marvin Hagler and Sugar Ray Leonard. A true ATG.

Vinny Pazienza - Tough little guy who shouldn't have roided his way up to 160+

James Toney - Great fighter who needs to call it quits. One of the slicked defensive fighters I have ever seen and one of the best chins of any fighter ever. Sure HOFer.

Jose Luis Castillo - A warrior who reminds me of a poor-man's JCC. One of the best bodypunchers in boxing who makes you fight. A helluva chin.

Max Schmeling - Great counterpuncher who will forever be remembered for his legendary bouts with Joe Louis.

Edison Miranda - Tough kid with a massive punch. Crude technically, but can give everybody at 160 a tough time. I wouldn't be surprised if he won a belt at 160, although it is more likely he moves up to 168 and doesn't win a belt.

Felix Sturm - Skilled boxer who should step up his competition. Deserved the win over De La Hoya.

Arturo Gatti: entertaining B fighter, never that good but better than he's often given credit for. Was the most entertaining fighter in boxing from 95-98.

Chad Dawson: a lot of upside, potential LHW champ

Tommy Hearns: great fighter. Brilliant jab, murderous right hand, good hand speed, very good outside boxing skills. Shaky chin. And he did NOT lose all his big fights, as people say. Wins over Cuevas and Benitez were big fights even if not quite Hagler and Leonard.

Vinny Pazienza: tough, popular fighter. Unfortunately, when I think of him I usuall think how Roger Mayweather took him to school and Roy's combo that finished him. That, and going after Rosenblatt and hitting the ref after he stopped it.

James Toney: I'm pretty much no longer a fan of him now after his last fight, but still one of my favorites for all the years before. I love watching his skills in the ring.

Jose Luis Castillo: I hated him for trying to rig the scales, but I'm over that now. He's a pretty tough guy with some underrated skills as well.

Max Schmeling: I'm glad that most people know that he wasn't rea;;y a Nazi and actually helped save some lives of Jews.

Edison Miranda: Boxing can always use more punchers (often flawed ones) who are willing to fight tough opposition.

Felix Sturm: He really beat Oscar.

Arturo Gatti - Remembered for the Ward trilogy, done well to turn his career around under mcGirt and surprised me winning th WBC as late on as he did. He didnt have HOF talent, will probably still get in.

Chad Dawson - great 175 prospect, still has lot to prove in my eyes, but think he can take advantage of a division wear some hardcore fans dont even know or care who the title holders are.

Tommy Hearns - Class act. True ATG, hit like a mule and was rarely not good to watch, I have to get his career on dvd as im sure i dont know as much about him as i should.

Vinny Pazienza - hmm, kind of in the gatti league. A Lovable loser who had some decent talent and was fun to watch.

James Toney - ability of on the very best of all time. Loved him as a middle, super middle and even as a cruiser, he ate himself out of the top 20 p4p! He's a cunt of a person who takes roids aswel! No excuses!

Jose Luis Castillo - Seriosu talent. not one of my fav fighters, but expect him to pull out all of the stops against Hatton in a losing effort...lets hope he comes in as a light welterweight!

Max Schmeling - Overrated. Scored a great win over an unassuming, unconcentrated but great fighter in Louis, but dont think he done much else of note...

Edison Miranda - Classic case of how big punching prospect who looks like a bad mother fucka can be immediately overrated and over loved by all who are supposed to know what they are talking about. he may be a bit big for 160 but all the top guys at 168 will KO him imo.

Felix Sturm - Genuine World class, him against Taylor could well be a 50-50 fight, itd be boring as hell but still 50-50.

Arturo Gatti Media darling but decent fighter.

Chad Dawson The truth and the future of the LHW divison.

Tommy Hearns ATG boxer could do it all often gets the short end of the stick when discussing Hagler, Duran or SRL.

Vinny Pazienza Exciting fighter but not great.

James Toney Great fighter but steroid abuse and his inability to commit to staying in shape will hurt his legacy.

Jose Luis Castillo Warrior and very underrated by many today. His fight with the late Chico Corrales will go down as one of the greatest of all time.

Max Schmeling Nazi propoganda

Edison Miranda Crude shit talker that can't back up his talk.

Felix Sturm Underachiever after not living up to the expectations after arguably beating Oscar.

Arturo Gatti (Finished Great heart thanks for the memories)

Chad Dawson ( future of the Lt Heavweight mix)

Tommy Hearns ( HOF of course class act again thanks for the memories)

Vinny Pazienza ( Paz, really this was the first Naz great entertainer)

James Toney (Steriod cheating ass, Fat Lazy bastard with no respect for the sport or his fans who are dishing out hard earned cash to see him fight)

Jose Luis Castillo ( great fighter was probably in the greatest fight I have ever seen for that alone none of us will ever forget him, not even our kids)

Max Schmeling ( before my time, great champion but wasnt he a Nazi? okay the pope was too so I guess its okay these days, Nazis need love to)

Edison Miranda (Power house with no boxing skills all heart and will sometimes it wins you fights most the time it losses you fights but he will be fun to watch no matter who he is fighting)

Felix Sturm (should step up and fight another American but I think he is comfy in germany at the moment perhaps he will defend against Campas soon:hey )

dawson will be exposed he is a fast southpaw but if ademek would have pressed and threw more lead rights he would have lost that fight.

Arturo Gatti - should stop before it's too late. one of the most entertaining fighters of the last decade.

Chad Dawson - don't have a true opinion on him yet.

Tommy Hearns - will never forget how he mocked leonard. not only his strength but also his weak chin made him one of the most exciting fighters ever for me.

Vinny Pazienza - crazy like not many others. even when losing he knew how to leave a good impression. haven't seen many people losing as entertaining as he did against rjj.. and i until today i don't know what was up in the last seconds against duran, when he suddenly ran through the ring in pain for no reason? do i remember that right?

James Toney - only fighter on the list i don't like. i don't care for roid scandals or other shit, he's just a loud mouthed fat bum with NO entertainment value unlike maybe pazienza and others. he is especially overrated outside the ring. he is NOT funny, but a fat old man who i want to see finally get knocked out (wlad will do the job).

Jose Luis Castillo - i think he's shot. but he has 'earned' this, and i have no problem imagining him to even beat hatton. i'm going to bet on hatton, but castillo is always good for a surprise (may it be good or bad). also, i never saw his fights against mayweather.. but i'm finally getting them the next days.

Max Schmeling - most important german boxer ever, but i only saw his fights against louis. i also don't get how some people could still call him a nazi, after all what's known today. he's a nice example of how good guys can be mislead and corrupted just because they're so good. he did enough to compensate the mistakes he made.

Edison Miranda - i've always seen him as overrated, and so is pavlik now. i don't hate him or anything, i just can't stand most of his delusional supporters. he was robbed against abraham first, because abraham should have been taken out of the fight, but he ruined his loss via decision for himself. no one but miranda can be blamed for this.

Felix Sturm - underrated and highly blessed fighter. he would win a wide ud against miranda. even sturm supporters and miranda haters may disagree, but miranda is just too predictable to catch him. also, miranda wasn't able to knock out a half dead abraham... how is he supposed to knock out a guy with such a genuine defense like sturm?

Arturo Gatti

Chad Dawson

Tommy Hearns

Vinny Pazienza

James Toney

Jose Luis Castillo

Max Schmeling

Edison Miranda

Felix Sturm

Gatti: B or C level fighter. All heart. Guaranteed to be in an exciting fight.

Dawson: Raw, but talented. Excellent future.

Tommy Hearns: One of my all time favorites. Freakish power as a WW.

Paz: Tough guy. Limited but full of heart.

James Toney: Naturally gifted. HOF'er. Recent losses and failed drug tests don't overshadow his accomplishments.

JLC: I've been mad at him since he beat my boy Stevie Johnston, but he is a talented, tough fighter. Should have been at 140 a couple of years ago.

Schmeling: His KO loss to Joe is my all time favorite fight.

Miranda: Raw, good power, will not meet his potential unless he sharpens up his boxing skills.

Felix: Not as good as his close loss to Oscar would have you believe.

Arturo Gatti - Warrior, massive heart and always exciting to watch though not as gifted as some

Chad Dawson - talented fighter who has potential in a historically weak division
Tommy Hearns - Class act and an ATG, fought the wrong fight with hagler choosing to go to war instead of outbox him. Dynamite puncher and with a huge reach wouldnt say glass jaw as much as a suspect one, if he'd had leonards chin he'd have been unbeatable. Got to be one of the most exciting boxers to watch ever
Vinny Pazienza - Tough fighter another warrior
James Toney - Good fighter reckoned to be p vp best before roy jones beat him agree he needs to hang his gloves up now though
Jose Luis Castillo - Yet another warrior, cracking fighter who only comes unstuck against the very best and they know theve been in a fight afterwards

Max Schmeling - Legendary fighter only really saw his fights with louis though so going off reports
Edison Miranda - Big hitter and decent prospect though wont go on to become one of the divisions finest

Felix Sturm - Yet another german boxer who doesnt fight outside his home country, to be considered a class act he needs to fight elsewhere

Arturo Gatti - Warrior in the ring. Huge heart. Good power. Below average boxer. Absolutely love to watch him fight.

Chad Dawson - Good up and comer. Looked fantastic vs Adamek and Harding. Should eventually own the LHW division for some time to come.

Tommy Hearns - One of my all time favs. Fantastic power. Great boxing skills. Superb jab. Questionable chin.

Vinny Pazienza - Great LW who with age and time, went much too far up in weight to really compete at a high level. Great, GREAT power in his prime.

James Toney - Master defender...perfected rolling away from punches. But ate himself out of the divisions he was meant to rule. Now steriods suspensions (2 in the past few years) raises the question of how much of what he did was legit. Still an ATG tho.

Jose Luis Castillo - Fantastic inside fighter. Great power in hook with both hands. Unbelievable chin. HUGE HEAD. Wars with Corrales will go down in history.

Max Schmeling - LOL, how random is this list....:rofl

Edison Miranda - Great power. No skill. Should improve over time if Pavlik didnt ruin him.

Felix Sturm - Really only saw two fights of his...both losses (well the ODLH one.....eh). Tho I did see he has a great jab.

But again, how was this list compiled....very VERY RANDOM....:yep

Arturo Gatti-was impressed from the first time I saw him fight sadly about time for a curtain call, so many tough fights

Chad Dawson-The Champ!

Tommy Hearns-The Yin to Sugar Rays Yang

Vinny Pazienza- Haugen good fights, Garza fight “Ouch!”, broken neck and comeback very impressive all the way to title. Worried ‘bout him towards the end…juice??

James Toney-Killer at 160! Gives boxing clinics on inside fight game. Again, steroids??

Jose Luis Castillo-“The British Are Coming!” Gonna’ be good!

Max Schmeling-WWII Scapegoat! Ended first Louis fight w/perfect overhand right over lazy jab.

Edison Miranda- Victim to next great Ohio fighter. Let’s see what he does now, the great ones get better from a tough loss.

Felix Sturm-Only seen 2 of his fights ( beat Oscar ) need to see more.

Arturo Gatti - A class ''B" fighter, with a class "A+" heart. A fan favorite and TV friendly fighter.

Chad Dawson - A awkward, undisciplined styled fighter who will get cracked like an egg the first time he meets a skilled fighter who can punch.

Tommy Hearns - Bomber who had more heart than skills and whose KO at all cost style was his own worst enemy at times.

Vinny Pazienza - Fun to watch, ball of energy who was average at best.

James Toney - Skilled, slick, counter puncher at cruiser and below. Other than that he is a fat waste

Jose Luis Castillo - Warrior

Max Schmeling - Cruel and deadly in the ring

Edison Miranda - Wide open fighter who has some pop but whose defense is as porous as a screen door on a submarine.

Felix Sturm - Good fighter but who lacks motivation at times and doesn't throw enough punches.

Ok enough with the nazi shit about Schmeling.
Read the link below.
Shit after he refused to join the nazi party he was forced into the paratroopers. A good read.
He also used to give Joe Louis money when he was down and out and even paid for his funeral:

I know Schmeling isn't the most popular boxer in town, but I'm surprised more people don't know anything of his actual story.

Only one person here actually mistakenly thought he was a Nazi.

All the other comments about this subject are how he was NOT one and was simply used as a symbol.
