Charley Rose ranked him at #6 all time at Welter.
Fleischer had him at #8 for Welter.
Goldman, #8.
It's just a contrast to how he's perceived here, where he tops a lot of peoples P4P lists, none the less welter ones.
Have people come to appreciate him more with age? Do the older intellectual "elite" of the sport have it wrong?
