Wanderlei Silva comments on fight with Chuck Liddell

I got Chuck I think Wanderleis past his best while Chuck just got beat by a man who has his number. Chucks style is one to KO Wanderlei and brutally I expect Silva to come in widly too many times and get dropped cold with a straight right.

Man, I think Liddel will clean up his defense. Sort of a bad matchup for Silva, considering Liddel is really good at controlling distance and picking people off. He uses the cage very well with his movement and isn't an easy guy to corner.. Silva tends to be half berserk, could be one of those fights where Liddel just lures the guy in and picks em off with an odd looping punch..

I friggin love Wanderlei, I love his spirit, his aggression, but it might be something that will hurt him. If he gets some clinch opportunities and is able to close the gap and trade with liddel up close he has a good shot.. Trick is getting there against Liddel. Not an easy guy to close in on effectively, possibly the hardest guy in MMA to do that against.

Just callin it how I see it. I actually like watching Wand more than I do Chuck, even though Chuck is a local boy where I'm from.. Just something about an angry determined Wanderlei I love. The guys a friggin animal.

Great fight to happen. Both are quality fighters. Chuck by KO.

When Silva is unleashing he looks frightening but when he isn't he looks like a stationary, flat footed robot and I think Chucks going to catch him with horrible shots.

If Chuck doesn't fight smart and trys to make a statement then Wanderlie will introduce him to some freaky shit.

Unless Wandy miraculously learns how to up his D and curb is style for this one bout his going to get KO`ed badly.Liddell is a good counter puncher and has dynamite in both hands.Silva`s aggresion wins him most bouts but his chin is decent but not sound like Rampages.If he doesnt learn how to cover up he`ll get KO`ed for sure.

If Silva can get in and grab the Muy Thai clinch, Liddell is going home in a bodybag. However, that isn't going to happen easily. Silva has lost his last two fights in devastating fashion, and Liddell has quick, strong hands. Getting inside ain't gonna be a cakewalk for Silva. If he can get there, he wins. But he might get blasted out before he can get close enough.

wither way it makes for an explosive fight which no one should miss (sounds like a ppv promo i know)

Yep, Never know, maybe he's cleaned up his striking and defense. I think he talked about going back to the basics, the basics are defense form and movement, three things that if you master you can fight with Liddel.

Lets remember Liddel has a modified striking style and isn't going to try and take Wandy down. If Wandy really works on his Muay Thai he should have an excellent shot at trading.

Looking at the big picture, Wandy, Liddel and Rampage, I'm starting to get very excited. One guy has the other guys number in two instances (Wandy vs Page, and Page vs Liddel). Talk about Styles make fights! Who wants to see Wandy vs Rampage 3?
