Tszyu: "Six months is a very
short suspension for Judah"
By Kostya Tszyu
Finally I am having a well-deserved
break; it has been a big year with a very
challenging schedule. It has also been a great year.
In February I won the WBA belt from
Sharmba Mitchell, in June I defended my WBC
and WBA belt against Oktay Urkal and recently in November
I defeated Zab Judah
to unify the Super Light Weight division and become
the Undisputed Champion of
the World.
The current survey that is on the
home page of my
official site has interesting
results. I have had a huge response to the question
Who I should fight next? The results now sit at 18%
Arturo Gatti, 14% Mickey Ward, 27% Zab Judah (rematch)
and a whopping 41% of the Tszyu Crew participants
believe I should fight Hector Camacho Junior.
I am unsure if Hector Camacho Junior
really wants to meet with me in the ring,
if he is prepared to do so then I would be more than
happy to commence
negotiations with him and his team.
I honestly do not know whom I will
be fighting next, it is a matter of finding the right
opponent, preferably someone who is well known and
also deserves the fight. Timing and availability is
also an important factor. Next year I would also truly
love to fight in Australia and I am going to do everything
possible to make it happen.
Regarding Zab Judah s suspensions
and fine, if you ask me, I think it is like a slap
on the wrist, six months it a very short suspension,
and a fine of $140,000 is insignificant when you consider
that he earned almost two million (Aussie) dollars
for the fight.
Several people have asked me for my
comments on Anthony Mundine s round 10 KO
loss to IBF World Champion Sven Ottke, I have no comment.
I would like to take this opportunity
to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy and
safe New Year. As a gift from me, from today up until
Christmas anyone who purchases anything from the Tszyu
Crew store will receive a 10% discount. I am sure
you will find the Tszyu Crew store is a smashing place
to shop for all your Christmas presents.

With all your support I am positive it will be another
year filled with success and achievement, thank you
all so much.
